Putin has been nibbling at Ukraine since 2014. Basically, WW2 started and ended (as far as Europe was concerned) in the same time span that Putin has been messing around in Ukraine. So Putin has an awful lot of work ahead of him if he is to catch up to Hitler and officially tickle the pickles of American liberals from east coast to west.

A critical member of the 1939 foreign policy disaster was neville chamberalin, now played by Biden.

Obama biden told us ISIS was the JV team....

afghan escape from kabul is not like the disastrous retreat from VN!

Yemen is a fine example of obam/biden ME policy

and the hits just keep on coming!

Can the dem leaders ever get anything outside their woke purview right???????

And we could kill him back. It's called MAD (mutually assured destruction) and is the reason we haven't had a direct war between the superpowers.

However, if we assume the leaders of both superpowers to be rational (maybe a false assumption), then neither country would be the first to launch nuclear weapons. It would be the very last resort. Like maybe if we had Moscow surrounded and about to take Putin captive he would launch. But if we fight the Russians in Ukraine and it goes badly for him he can always retreat back to Russia. As long as we didn't take the fight into Russian soil there would be no reason to start a nuclear holocaust.

Think once - what if Russia decided it wanted to take back Alaska? Surely we would fight them for it, but if we were losing I think we would give it to them before we would launch ICBMs.

We sit outside Ukraine and watch Putin destroy and kill the resistance. The insert a puppet govt.

We should be giving them air support at the least.

Then if that's what it takes to defeat this madman, so be it. Let the other countries of the world stomp him out before he can do more damage and destroy more lives and countries.

A repeat of WWII in 1944-45.

US and UK did not force Stalin to support his allies.

We sit and watch as Putin goes after Ukraine.

Shame on us.

Give them the equipment they need.

China is much more dangerous. Of course. But Putin is like Hitler. And he is primarily a problem for Europe not us.

I'm not sure it matters. There are probably many similarities between ruthless, power-hungry autocrats. It's just the nature of the leadership.
