I don't think you know what homophobia means. No one is afraid of gay people. No one hates gay people.
Get it out of the schools.
Adults can do whatever they want. If you NOTICE, the thread is discussing children. Not gay adults.
Look at the history of the 'sexual revolution'...Do you really think its just going to stop at homosexuality? LOL
If you look back to past decades, its very clear, we are getting more and more depraved, consider the 40s and 50s, when it was 'immoral' to show womens knees on TV or the movies...look at how this changed year by year, up to today...what do you think will be 'immoral' in 20 yrs?!
I'm not seeing the issue. It promotes unity and equal rights which is a good thing, so I understand why conservatives would be against it
I pledge my allegiance only to the flag of the United States. I couldn’t care less that flag people choose to pledge their own allegiance to, but if you choose your sexuality over your nationality, that’s your own problem and I don’t have to accept your personal beliefs as being more important than mine AND the same, if it was the other ways around. I simply choose to be identified as an American ABOVE anything else in my life. I don’t know if their is a straight flag, but if their was one, “I” wouldn’t pledge my allegiance to it.
Being retired Army and fought in two wars, I place the American flag ABOVE any other flag since my friends died wearing that flag into battle to protect the rights so others can pledge their allegiance to a non-American flag while standing on American soil.
And no, I don’t have issues with gay people. I even warned a gay soldier in my Platoon that he was being watched by CID, Army criminal investigators, after being seen going into an off-limits gay club. Which was illegal in the the Army, back in the late 1980s. By doing that, I put my career in jeopardy, but it was the right thing to do and if I had to do it all over again, I would.
It’s indoctrination. It’s ok from “their” point of view, because they’ve been oppressed.
But from the other point of view, it’s considered homophobic and discriminatory.
These people are sick in the head with this crap. These are children they are messing with.
They should be locked up. It’s borderline pedophilia. It’s sick and disgusting.

Honest questions here. I'm very interested in how you see this as the best way to handle teens who identify as gay.
Wondering if you would prefer these teens go to some kind of conversion therapy? Or maybe just say nothing and see how it plays out for them?
In your opinion, how should we address these teens who have identified as gay. Ignore it? Not speak of it outside their home?
The thought is that they should not be ashamed of their sexuality. Do you believe it better that they not discuss it with anyone outside their family and maybe therapist. I'm assuming that you believe they should not be proud of this aspect of their personality or life choices.
What happens if they want to date - that is age appropriate for a teen - how best to handle that aspect of their life in your opinion.
Should they not be presented or interact with gay role models?
Nobody should be ashamed of their sexuality but this seems way out there, and considering who it was, he should have skipped the drill.
Pledge of Allegiance to the gay flag?
Really?
It’s stupid.

The issue shoots right over your head. You go right for the homophobe narrative.
We’re talking about CHILDREN. Help/counseling should absolutely be available. When the time is appropriate.
And should primarily be handled by legitimate health care professionals, not teachers, celebrities or politicians.
Let nature take its course first. The crap going on now is basically yes, conversion therapy, but in the opposite direction.

When would the appropriate time be, Ringo? And what kind of counseling?
