Dems/libs have had a penchant for producing terrible political candidates and politicians. Gone are the days of actual rational democrat politicians and statesmen. Today, in order to be a democrat candidate, one must pass the litmus test of embracing the most far left, insane policies imaginable or one is deemed "not electable". In the past, democrats had shunned the extremists and selected more pragmatic, sane candidates. That pragmatism died in the 1960s and the "leaders" of the dem party have become more and more bizarre with every election, arriving at the current disaster of Biden/Harris.

Republicans, after experiencing their own share of terrible candidates (Bush I and II, McCain, Ryan, Romeny, ect....) have rejected the "corruption and incompetence as usual" candidates and have demanded something better. Trump was a non politician who delivered economic prosperity to the US and a no nonsense foreign policy and gained the largest number of LEGITIMATE votes in US history. Conservatives of today reject the RINOs and corrupt Washington insiders, which has led to SEVERAL, rational candidates for president going forward.

As long as dems continue to accept the horrible candidates the DNC produces who embrace far left, radical ideology, they will always have very poor candidates. One wonders why in the world the rational dems (if there are any left) do not seek to regain control of their party and reject the far left lunatics who dictate that democrat candidates must be as insane as them to be "acceptable"?

Name me a conservative, from the word conserve use less of, that the repubs have elected for President? Everyone elected has been a progressive. Same garbage, increase spending and debt and keep us involved in never ending wars in the Middle East.

Republicans need to clean their own house first. it's filthy. They should start with Donald "Big Government" Trump.

The GOP doesn't have a great track record itself. But compared to what we got in the last administration, I would have happily taken a McCain, Romney or even a Bush.

The left has been hijacked by extremists.

Their ever waking moment, is consumed with skin color and what genitalia is between someone's legs.

They're the true racists and sexists.

I don't know man. Seems to me like both political parties suffer from this same problem.

Both sides suck. I don't understand why nobody admits this.

Oh they/we do, but we are still stuck with the same dilemma... Without a very major change, the 2 party voting system is here to stay, no matter what we think. And I'm not sure the European version, which often has 4 or more mainstream candidates, produces much better results.

Oh I absolutely admit it.

But......as voters, we can only work with what we have.

And that doesn't mean that one side isn't substantially worse than the other.
