Joe Biden has taken a wrecking ball to housing affordability.

Young potential homebuyers are being blocked out of the market by Bidenflation.

Yes, Joe did build that!....with a lot of help from his "advisors".

His poor handling of C-19 caused supply chain disruptions, & his war on U.S. energy drove up prices for everything...including building materials.

Worst President of all time by far, & his handlers are even worse. Fake Doctor Jill is guilty of elder abuse.

I sure hope the Independents & moderate Democrats remember all these hard left Liberal failures in November 2022,& 2024.
Biden is bad, but housing affordability has been getting worse and worse every year by a longshot for 9-10 years by now with price gains of 10% or more per year and the years they were not at least 10%, they were darn close as in 8-9%.

That is after almost everyone and all experts thought home prices would be flat or only gradually increase nation wide on average in late 2011 to early 2012. Unfortunately they were wrong and it has been a problem for long long long time going all the way back to Obama's 2nd term.

During Obama's first term and the tail end of Bush's last term, Housing was in a good place where small starter homes in decent or better neighborhoods could be had for $120K to $150K or even less in many areas that were reasonable good. Not inexpensive and cheap, but not insanely expensive either. It was where it should be during those times.

Unfortunately price increases got really bad starting around late 2012 to early 2013 and have not let up.

I don't think it's such a dumb idea.

I mean, unless they get in the car with him.

Well, in another active thread, they're pulling their hair out about how hot the market is. Again, because of Biden.

I swear to God . . .

If house values increase, it will be Bidens fault. Conversely, if house values decrease, it will be Bidens fault. That’s the way it works.

Being shat on by the electorate is part of the job description of an elected official. If he doesn't want people ****ting on him, he shouldn't be in public office.

This is what happens when Biden has the keys to his car.

If this means house price growth slows down or even house prices declining, then I am all for it.

Housing is unaffordable for too many Americans now and needs to come back down to more sane levels.
