Good to know that people don't care if Disney employs workers who are part of human sex trafficking rings.
But people will have fanatical meltdowns if 4 years old can't be taught by classroom teachers how to be transgenders.
Huh.
Mmkay? I guess?
We are have officially jumped the shark.
The three Disney employees in the video are customers and there was no mention of their taking part in human trafficking.
And I don't see what this has to do with Disney. If they worked at the local Ford plant would people try to link them to Ford?
Perhaps they are implying Disney attracts a certain type of employee? That's probably a stretch. In my experience, most of the customer facing employees are teens and college students.
was this another sting?.....if fighting human trafficking is Judd's goal, this certainly is no way to catch pimps who are trafficking females!......Judd seems to be just another attention w*o*e.....is he up for re-election this November?!.....
About your update…
I’m sorry but these were adults hiring what they thought were willing adults to engage in a sexual act in exchange for money. This did not involve children, nor were the arrested individuals the pimps in the exchange. Consenting adults should be able to decide the circumstances under which they engage in sex. So unless there were indications these people should have clearly picked up on that the person engaging in the sex might be doing so against their will, this is a total bullcrap publicity generating fishing expedition.
I’ll share your outrage if we were talking about seeking out children, but only adults? Nope.

This is probably they installed all that rumored insta-porn "security" technology that lets them see right under your clothes at all their parks. It lets them evaluate children better.
Sheriff Grady Judd during his press conference particularly highlighted the case of the 27-year-old Xavier Jackson of Kissimmee Florida, who was one of the people caught in the operation, and “just happens to be a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort for Disney.”
“You think there’s a few children around there?” the sheriff continued in his discourse. “That’s right, I didn’t stutter. He was a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort. And was bragging about that.”
Any coverage from the main MSM outlets? *crickets*
We generally agree on most issues, but I have to say that this story is very deceptive, and not about child sex trafficking at all, but is really just old school vice squad style entrapment, using police officers posing as prostitutes.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office and other authorities in the US state of Florida have rounded up 160 people in a week-long human trafficking sting operation dubbed Fall Haul 2, County Sheriff Grady Judd announced on Friday in a press conference.
Those charged included a Disney employee, multiple school teachers, a deputy police chief, a corrections officer, and 26 married men. Some 86 were allegedly selling sex while 65 were trying to buy it.
I have a real problem with police going after and setting up people engaged in common sex for money transactions, when really horrendous child sex traffickers continue to operate with impunity. There is a huge difference between that, and adults choosing to engage in consensual exchange of money for physical pleasure.
In certain areas of our nation, prostitution is legal and regulated. So, I don’t see how this can be perfectly legal in Nevada, yet be considered such a crime elsewhere that warrants literally ruining people’s lives over.
People abusing children should be executed. Grown adults engaged in personal transactions should be left the hell alone.

The issue with sex trafficking is not that they are willing adults. They are for the most part people who have been kidnapped, people who have crossed the border with a massive amount to pay for having someone bring them over the border. This is not some victimless crime.
Disney employs 75K people in Florida, mostly in the Orlando area. Given the general sleaze level in Florida, it would be more shocking if no Disney employees ever got arrested ever. The dirt bags can slip through even reasonably strong pre-employment background checks.

100% !
I’m becoming so disgusted with the never ending dishonesty in news, and really, just about everything these days. This entire thing has nothing to do with children, as you rightly pointed out, and has everything to do with unnecessary and objectionable intrusions into the personal behaviors of consenting adults.
This type of grandstanding by law enforcement officials pretending to be tackling the true and disgusting crime of human sex trafficking, when they are really engaged in entrapping people for common prostitution among adults should be what is against the law, and actually used to be.
Now, it seems to be fine to dress up a police officer in a skimpy outfit, have her ask a guy if he’d like to roll in the hay for $150, and the moment he pulls out his wallet, his life is ruined.

I’m not sure how you can justify such a claim? The truth is, for the most part, neither you nor I could say one way or the other. What we can say is that prostitution has been around as long as humans have been, hence why it’s called the oldest profession.
But since there is legal prostitution in certain areas of our country, what this really says is, paying for sex isn’t wrong, as long as you do it in the right places, but if you do it in the wrong place, we’ll destroy your life. How is that justifiable?
As for the point you’re trying to make, this is a very poor strategy for dealing with human trafficking, because by the time human trafficking reaches street level prostitution, the impact of the crime has already been suffered, and arresting the prostitute helps how exactly? It certainly doesn’t stop the traffickers who are off moving more humans, does it? No, it just ruins more lives under the premise of preventing a crime it can’t possibly prevent.
