The bodies of the children all lie here, dumped into this narrow trench hastily dug into the frozen earth of Mariupol to the constant drumbeat of shelling.

There’s the girl no older than 6 who wore the pajamas with cartoon unicorns, among the first of Mariupol's children to die from a Russian shell.
They are stacked together with dozens of others in this mass grave on the outskirts of the city. A man covered in a bright blue tarp, weighed down by stones at the crumbling curb. A woman wrapped in a red and gold bedsheet, her legs neatly bound at the ankles with a scrap of white fabric. Workers toss the bodies in as fast as they can, because the less time they spend in the open, the better their own chances of survival.

I am sooo tired of hearing people cowering in fear of putin and WWIII. So the answer is to just let him get away with his murderous ways? If it takes WWIII to take this nutbag out, then so be it. The sooner the rest of the outraged world gangs up on him and eliminates him, the better for everyone around.

Putin has been invading Ukraine since 2014. He walked across all those red lines in the sand Obummer was blathering about, but that was the correct time to try to stop him. We have already demonstrated years ago that we have no interest in fighting a war in Ukraine. Why would Putin expect this time to be any different? Because you saw a blown up hospital on CNN?
If you would like to talk about terrorism, fine, but don't pretend we have clean hands. Look up the number dead in Iraq as a result of our war of choice. Look up who armed the Taliban to fight the Soviets. This is the stuff Putin points out when he is attacked on an ethical basis. This is why Putin and a large portion of the east and middle east has stopped listening to the talking points from people like Biden.
It would be nice if the USA could put all politics aside and work to counter the very active evil that exists in the world, but our efforts to do so over the past few decades have cost us dearly. In the process of doing so, some of the world has come to lose confidence in our ability to actually continue fighting that good fight.

This is the kind of report that "brings it home" to many people. If such coverage about Hitler's actions had been "brought home" in such a way to the U.S., perhaps millions of lives might have been saved.
