I'm sure other families can say the same. There's the Pirates of the Caribbean. They have Star Wars now, which I'm torn on because Disney has bastardized the franchise with their weak sauce trilogy that's virtually unwatchable. They did do well with shows like The Mandalorian, however. Yet, let's get to why you shouldn't go there right now. It's become a hub of sexual creeps and human trafficking. Okay, maybe that's a bit far, but some who work there, serve you, manage the rides, or even become one of the many beloved characters that meet and greet the kiddies have dark secrets. Recently, some Disney employees were pinched in a trafficking sting. It’s true. ( MY OP Talk about worst timing for disney!!

A Disney executive vowed more inclusivity in its productions — as the entertainment giant works to make underrepresented groups, such as racial minorities and the LGBTQ community, account for at least 50 percent of its regular characters by the end of the year.
Karey Burke, president of Disney’s General Entertainment Content, said the company must do more to make its content more inclusive in a company-wide Zoom call Monday that was later posted to Twitter.
“I’m here as a mother of two ***** children, actually,” Burke said on the call. “One transgender child and one pansexual child, and also as a leader.”

I'm seeing that everywhere, even with judges, cops, pastors, teachers.
I have a great niece who has worked at Disney for several years. It was her dream since she was a little girl. She is the sweetest, most generous, kindest person you would want to meet. While I'm sure they hire some shady people, as do most employers no matter how hard they screen, I'd bet most of them are like my great niece.
We went to Disney World the year it opened (1971). We knew a gal who's Dad was involved in designing DW and she had a huge brown envelope filled with free passes for everything, including entrance fee. So we spent 2 days there all free ( we were staying in an RV trailer park a few miles away) . When we got back home she said give the envelope to someone you know that's going there, so we did. Don't know how long the envelope got passed on but there were a LOT of passes in it. Had a great time but some of the exhibits weren't there yet. But the crowd was fairly small and we didn't have to wait long to get into anything. Wouldn't go back though.
They raise prices because people keep paying. Same reason video cards, smart phones, and real estate are so high. If the super wealthy aren't driving up the prices, it's people willing to live paycheck to paycheck doing it outbidding someone else.
I'm the type who enjoys his vacations in May, the last week of August, and September and October on a weekday, and post covid there's no guarantee any tourist destination won't be busy no matter what day you try going. It's gotten a bit better but not still to where it was. I remember beautiful 60 degree days in the badlands in a Tuesday and it was totally dead. 4 years later entire parking lots are full on similar days.
No desire to visit ... doesn't fit my personality. Add in their transgender obsession, doubly so. Not because I'm necessarily anti-transgender, but I consider what they are doing grooming minors, this obsession with letting 5 year olds know they can change their gender without asking their parents. It's idiotic, frankly. These same people talk about "the science" as though their word is gospel. No, it's not. They are not born that way, they are groomed by culture to be that way.
Watch the series "Century of the Self" that I've posted links to before. The media basically starts cultural movements and has for the last 100+ years. 100 years ago the motive was profit for the large corporations. Get women out into the workforce doing the same things men do and you've just doubled your customer base, etc. I just wonder what their motives are for much of what they are doing in 2022.
Something really creepy going on at Disney corp. Many pedophiles arrested lately and the employees have been staging walkouts to protest Florida's law against showing graphic sexual content to kindergarteners in the classroom

Overall the conservatives were right, the elite class is filled with pedos. Overall the right was right.
One thing interesting about Disney is their security. There are youtube videos about it. Top notch security. I know they are getting heat right now but considering just how many kids go there and the pure chaos of the parks, we don't hear many bad news.
Yeah. They were right about it cause it's them doing it. You protest too much.
