There are Level 4 Bio-Labs in Western Universities and Health Agencies, as well as animal and plant research, and bio-labs involved in pharma and bio-science research, as well as hospitals, academia and education etc.
The idea that the US needs a nation like Ukraine to carry out research is laughable.

He would have everyone believe, that after less than a year and a half in office, Biden has "Nazified" Ukraine. No rationale provided, of course.
The US should definitely be brought up on charges by the global community, on some of the illegal things they have done in the past, like medical experiments (without the persons consent or knowledge), telling people they were treating Syphilis, but instead looking at how it progressed, even in children! And other 'projects'. like Mk Ultra, etc...
The US is just as brutal and cruel as any other country, (that is more well known for these things).
There's more money laundering goes on in big western financial centres than ever occurs in Ukraine.
As for bio-labs they have maximum security Bio-Science labs (BSL- 4) in cities and university campuses in the west - so what.
GOF was suspended in the US in 2014. But the year before that the DoD funded the building of several labs in countries all over the world.
Covid could have very well been a lab escape of a GOF created virus.
There is no proof either way...lab created or naturally occurring so it's still a plausible speculation.
What I don't like about it is that if the US was doing it then I'm sure other countries were doing it.
I trust nothing coming from either side at this point. I must point out though when it comes to money laundering schemes we already know the Big Guy gets 10%.
Their view isn't of a Putin apologist, or focus on fringe conspiracies. Commentary has called out Putin as a war criminal, but it provides a perspective that isn't pro US/West/NATO either.

Why is that laughable ? GOF was suspended in the US so build a lab in another country and continue on with your experiments.
Fauci did testify that the NIH did not directly fund Wuhan lab. Key word there is "directly" and he spoke the truth.
What the NIH did was give the money to EcoHealth who then funded the Wuhan lab.

You are right, there is no evidence to support any of this.
In terms of a lot of dangerous nerve agents, they were discovered by accident, the Germans discovered Sarin by accident and the British later discovered V-Agents by accident.
In terms of pathogen research it's highly regulated but not illegal, and the US is a country that attracts scientists from across the world rather than having to go to other countries to set up research facilities.
Any labs in Ukraine were in support of public health, and most countries have public health labs, which are often BSL-4, which is the maximum security level.
The UK Health Security Agency is currently looking at moving it's BSL4 labs to the former GSK HQ at Harlow in Essex and there were BSL4 Labs at Mill Hill in London.
The Hollywood movie Batman Begins even used Institute for Medical Research at Mill Hill in London as the Arkham Asylum.
