Sad that it always seems to come down to money. But that is just how it is and unfortunately, since that is usually the case, the color of his skin probably cost them significantly. They may be lucky if they get a few thousand, and all we will ever hear is the ever-popular "Undisclosed Amount".
The 27 million for the Floyd family was ridiculous but there is obviously some concerns with the manner of restraint even when the suspect is under the influence.
Acute intoxication with illegal drugs didn't matter for George Floyd. Should it suddenly matter here?

They already have...but the REAL POINT is, LEO should not be drawing Blood,...that should be reserved for Medics who are equipped to handle repercussions should any occur.
The Perp could have been saved with a simple can an NARCAN, if qualified pros were there.

All they had to do was arrest him, take him to jail, and get a warrant for the blood draw. Why they tried to do it on the street is beyond me.
