Better than under TFG. The lowest since Woodstock! The economy continues to boom!

U.S. jobless claims fall to lowest level since 1969
Quote:
The numbers: Initial jobless benefit claims fell by 28,000 to 187,000 in the week ended March 19, the U.S. Labor Department said Thursday.

That’s the lowest level since September 1969.

Economists polled by the Wall Street Journal had expected claims to total 210,000.

Key details: The number of people already collecting jobless benefits fell by 67,000 to 1.35 million. These so-called continuing claims are at their lowest level since the 1970s.

Default American weekly jobless claims at lowest level since 1969

This is good news, of course the increasing costs/inflation bring the down side. But the fact the jobless claims is really low is good news.

The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits last week fell to its lowest level in 52 years as the U.S. job market continues to show strength in the midst of rising costs and an ongoing virus pandemic

So you are saying everything, bad or good, happens under Biden belongs to Biden, correct?

So in other words, you can’t come up with anything that Biden did for unemployment.

It’s funny how when the economy was going good under Trump, the Left claims it was because of Obama but when unemployment is low under Biden, it is because of Biden and yet they can’t come up with any example of what Biden did.

So.... the left forces lockdowns which cost millions of jobs and then when Trump is gone they lift them and things go back to semi normal and we're supposed to to think they did a good job> Yeah... no. If they hadn't tried to derail Trump with this Covid BS we'd be sitting pretty, especially with all the damage Biden's agenda has caused. High fuel prices, high food prices, inflation, open borders and increased crime. Not to mention possible nuclear war. We never should have allowed Biden to steal the election.

UE is still well short of the 3.5% seen under the previous administration preplandemic, until this administration can reach similar levels they have nothing to brag about on employment except for firing 50,000 workers on day 1.

So, when the economy was good under President Trump, it was because of President Obama's policies. But, when the economy is "ok" under President Biden, it is because of President Biden's policies? Huh?

And, what policies, specifically?

The unemployment rate is now 3.8%. That's hardly "well short" of 3.5%. Considering the UE rate has been falling by 0.1 or 0.2 percentage points per month on average of late, it could reach 3.5% in 2-4 months.
