Gun control has become a fringe left issue, as many centrist democrats buy guns of their own due to the lax on crime policies of their base. I find it quite amusing and a bit ironic. Once you get enough women to embrace firearm ownership as a means of self defense, that issue is pretty much toast for the left.
I really thought back in 2000 we'd have banned guns by now, but democrat identity politics policies and woke policies have increased gun ownership substantially. I'm pleasantly surprised to be honest, that we still have the gun rights we do. The right fought back on an issue, and it worked. Who would have thought... it's the one good thing they've managed to do well.
When you defund the police and do NOT respond to 911 calls and let criminals out without bail, the PEOPLE see the need to defend THEMSELVES.

Good news, and especially encouraging to see law abiding black Americans exercising their civil rights and acquiring a means of defending themselves.
I agree because they are buying their firearms legally. People that buy items legally tend to store, carry and use that item within the law.
The average law abiding gun owner is not at the core of all the shootings and murders we have. It is the punks, thugs and gangsters that are wildly shooting each other and anyone else that is in the way.
Americans are buying guns for the simple fact that they do not feel safe and we can thank the Democrats for that.
Yes because Obama was going to take away their guns, all 330 million of them. There's always an excuse for a gun surge and the NRA has done a good job creating paranoia, the pandemic, BLM protests, democratic president, statement by a congressman all lead to a surge.
Numerous Democrats have pledged to take away guns over the last 30 years. They are boosting the sales.
The comment was it went up when Obama took office and is going up now that Biden is in office. Just correcting the errors. The biggest jump by far was 2020. The pandemic, BLM riots being the reason. Nothing really to do with Trump. 2022 will probably be up with crime rising all over. One can simply blame it on Biden but its not exactly that simple.
well remember obama said he was banning gun and ammo so the run on ammo started. Then hillarys comments, everyone assumed if she won it would be civil war due to her flip comments about deplorables and rounding people up. but ya, the biggest problems was the blm/antifa riots - but like I said, the largest increase was them arming themselves...and the current chechnya-like murder rate is them taking it out on each other. I think we are in agreement overall
