After the WSJ and NY Post were able to verify the laptop's authenticity, people in the emails verified their veracity, and people pointed out how the photos outside of Hunter's home matched Hunter's house:

-Some BigTech censored the story so people couldn't share it or see it.

-When mainstream media talked about it they rarely mentioned that it showed Joe Biden corruption, which is why you saw many Democrat posters on here with snarky replies about how they won't vote for Hunter Biden, because the media purposefully made them ignorant so they were duped into thinking this was a good point.

Minimal more damage now that the truth has been acknowledged and people are finding out how corrupt our present politicians (not "the system") are, and will start voting Democrats out of office wholesale in 2022 and 2024. This will become a HEALING for the nation after long last, and a badly needed one.

The media has no interest in providing any news on the Hunter laptop. Now if this were one of Pres. Trump's offspring's laptop it would be a different story!
short term damage most people not only have short term memories they are stupid and will not learn the lesson of how media conspired to hide knowledge that benefited one political candidate over another. Especially when that media will to do so. How many still think "hands up dont shoot" was real when Michael Browns friend who was there admitted he lied. Can didnt run that video every ten minutes like they did the one where he described Brown as the victim and they won't run stories on the validity of the laptop and their own efforts to refute it every ten minutes either.
Short term on everything except the GOP will get to play it heavily in their favor in 2022 and 2024. Will have a modest affect for centrist voters and none for strongly left of center. Strongly right of center will already vote GOP.

So you are saying this is NOT Hunter Biden's laptop?
The effects will be minimal. Trump was supposed there to drain the swamp but look at the US in 2022... the swamp is worse than ever and the progressive establishment corporate globalist complex have more power over our lives than ever.
In the end, as long as people have their bread and circuses, the status quo will remain. It's only when people are backed into a corner they decide to fight back, which is somewhat what happened with the covid mandates... the people fought back and in many cases won.
Change won't happen without discomfort. Discomfort spurs change in animals. I always talk about operant conditioning and how we reward bad behavior and choices in modern culture. Our actions are dictated by chasing pleasure, avoiding pain. We are simple creatures to understand in the end.
Even if the red side gets power again what are they going to do? They probably won't stop unchecked illegal immigration or modern monetary theory pumping of their asset bubbles. They'll probably try to keep marijuana illegal and pass heartbeat abortion laws. Their usefulness will be limited in my opinion. They'll be more concerned about passing laws for bribes which is business as usual. Both parties will only come to agreement when it comes to how much of our money they can spend, and they will exceed the federal budget no matter which wing is in charge.
