What is interesting is there was so little to complain about concerning Judge Jackson's record that most of the Republican Senators didn't bother asking hard questions.
I will be honest, this was mostly a cakewalk for the nominee (Some dog-whistling and crack vs cocaine questions with no relevance to the judge's record or cases) with only 2-3 attempting to dig at something. I thought it was interesting that the Judge also reminded Hawley and Cruz that they, THE CONGRESS, were the ones responsible for the guidelines Hawley and Cruz were complaining about concerning Pedifelia.
It really was interesting to see Congress finally have someone point back and say, It's your inaction that is leading to the short sentencing of Pedoifiles happening across the country. Congress needs more kicks in the butt to actually start addressing issues in the US.
Being soft on pedophiles is a major issue with this woman. She is NOT in the mainstream of America.
Let me know when the political opposition pulls out a fake 30 year old rape accusation.

The part that struck me was when Senator Cruz hammered her about a case, stating the names, and then had to say he was citing the wrong case.

Yep. Was not even reading the correct reports correctly because it didn't matter, only the narrative mattered to him. He along with Hawley and Blackburn kept lying by using her question during a meeting as a "Statement on the record during a trial" over and over again. And over and over again she corrected them which by the 2nd day seemed really childish to those actually watching since Hawley, Cruz, and Blackburn knew it was not part of a trial case.
It was a weak argument and still is. They even seemed surprised when the Judge reminded them the sentencing guideline Hawley, Cruz, and Blackburn was complaining about is Congress's responsibility.
None of the Republican congressmen took responsibility for those sentencing guidelines and outdated language in it outside of Grassley.
Let's see if those same Senators actually introduce a bill to address those guidelines, my money is on, NO!

KJ sounded a reasonable pick at first but her performance makes her about as informed as screen saver harris.
then again Biden said he wanted a woman who was black, so any questions that might be asked are irrelevant as KJ appears to be a woman and black, though we are not sure how she identifies.

A woman credibly accused Mr. Kavanaugh of sexual assault. Democrats rightly asked the committee to investigate. After a superficial FBI review, Republicans pressed forward his nomination. In the end, it was Mr. Kavanaugh who behaved intemperately, personally attacking Democratic senators and revealing partisan instincts that raised questions about his commitment to impartiality.
By contrast, Republicans have smeared Judge Jackson based on obvious distortions of her record and the law. Mr. Graham and others painted her as a friend of child pornographers, despite the fact that her sentences in their cases reflect the judicial mainstream.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) used much of her time assailing those concerned about transgender people. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) attacked Judge Jackson for sitting on the board of Georgetown Day School, a D.C. private school, because he disapproves of its anti-racism curriculum, which Judge Jackson has never endorsed, let alone relied upon in a ruling. Similarly, several Republicans complained that outside pressure groups favored her nomination, even though she has no connection to them.
It was a dumb question designed to trip her up. She could have answered the like the kid in the movie, and then the next questioner would get their licks in doubling down.
It's an extremely relevant question as women's rights cases sometimes make it to SCOTUS.
As such, since KBJ publicly admitted she doesn't know what a woman is, she'll be recusing herself from any such cases, correct?
