Saw the side by side pictures a few days ago (this is an old story), and joke's on them for doctoring the picture because the softer version makes him look more like a soft skinned man and and the original with goggle lines and rough skin ironically looks more like a real female swimmer

Rumor has it she is flaunting her wedding tackle in the locker room. Mark Steyn did a hilarious commentary on this monster on GBN.

As a photographer, I would be irate if someone did this to my photographs. It goes against the ethics of photojournalism. Aside from sharpening photographs, editing should be an absolute minimum. I give the photog some credit for going public with this. Not sure how often NBC will use her work in the future. Sad.

NBC is dictionary definition propaganda.

Remember how they altered George Zimmerman's 911 phone call to make him sound racist?

Anyone remember when Time magazine edited O.J. Simpson's photo to make him look darker?

TIME Magazine - OJ Simpson — ALTERED IMAGES

Magazines and newspapers have actively engaged in propaganda for decades, even if it means lying or distorting the truth.

What we have here is NBC acting like activists, not a news organization. Activists try and push a viewpoint onto you, news organizations just report current events.

Sadly, we have no news organizations left in the USA. Just activist organizations.
