This foolishness of being upset at Biden because he said Putin must go is concerning to say the least.
Putin has literally blown up and caused the death of thousands. He has disrupted the life's of millions of people. Is holding the threat of nuclear war over all of us. Then our President is expected to sit back and not speak his mind, because the poor little Russian govt will be offended. Give me a bloody break. Everything Biden said is exactly what anyone with feelings is thinking. Putin needs to be removed. What are we suppose to do cower behind his threats as if Putin is king of the world. Ask someone from Ukraine if they want putin removed, see what they say.
It's blatantly obvious no matter what Biden does is going to be considered wrong, by certain segments of people.

Blame it all on Putin if you want, but it was at our insistence that Ukraine and Georgia be considered as NATO members, something that Putin repeatedly warned against. Germany, France and other NATO members were not in favor of this idea but Bush Jr was adamant and pushed it through the NATO summit in 2008. Russia then invaded Georgia later that year to stop the expansion but that did little to stop the aspirations in Ukraine. Putin is a Cold War leftover that sees NATO as a direct threat as we evidently viewed them even before this war. How are the actions of Russia any different than our own? If not for a whole lot of luck, we would have invaded Cuba in 1962 in what would have likely involved nuclear weapons to do exactly what they are doing today in Ukraine. As for the war criminal sentiment, I don't believe Russia intentionally targets civilians any more than we meant to bomb the Chinese embassy in Belgrade or kill over 400 people in a bomb shelter in Iraq. Unfortunately in war civilians die. The expansion of NATO eastward to the Russian border was reckless and unnecessary. There was a period there where we could have done more to dissolve the mistrust but we did chose not to. One of the things I liked about Trump was that he was willing to listen to them without delivering the incessant demonizations, demands, threats and ultimatums that seems to be the basis of our diplomacy. It seems we will always need an enemy to hate.
