In Iraq at least 10% of the population were Christian before the US invasion of Iraq . Since then a vast majority have left. BTW Christians in Iraq were safer living under Saddam than when he was overthrown. Plus some of his senior party officials were Christian as well. Plus one could go to church there without the thought of bombs going off or Christians there targeted by Islamic terrorists. Ever since the invasion by the so called US it has largely been hell for the IRaqi Christian community.

In Indonesia which is the worlds biggest Muslim populated country, at least 10% of the people are Christian.

The migrant agricultural visas went to crap when they started charging a fee, and made the original farmer try to be responsible for the workers. The migrants used to move around as the crops were ready to be picked anywhere from Fl to Ohio, Pa, Calif etc. and then go home. There’s a lot of prerequisites as well. You must prove you can’t get local workers etc etc. in either case, the Mexicans been here a long time, and we did invite them.

The H-2A visa is a nonimmigrant visa program that allows US employers to bring foreign nationals to the US to fill low-skill, temporary or seasonal agricultural jobs for which US workers are not available. The H2A visa processing time can depend on several factors, including the processing times of the various government agencies that form part of the process. Generally, however, the whole process takes about 90 days from start to finish to complete.Mar 16, 2022

Costs of the H-2A Visa Program
Labor Certification
Filing fee $460
H-2A Visa Application
Consulate fee $190 per worker (worker must be reimbursed in first paycheck)

All these is to be done before the crop is ready for hundreds of workers that are overseas in wait. Guess what doesn’t work so well

No, "we" law abiding Americans did not invite illegal Mexicans here! If the H-2A visa program isn't working well then it needs to be fixed. The solution isn't to have millions of illegals cross our border to pick crops and cost us over $100 billion a year for their social costs.

Oh, the melodramatics of this one! I have every right to be angry about this issue as I have the right to be angered over any other political issues. You don't tell me what to be angry about! And no, I won't have a stroke over it even though I'm sure you pro-illegals would like me and other anti-illegal immigration Americans like us to have.

Oh yes, these illegal aliens are going to go somewhere but you're not going to like where which is back to their homelands where they belong.

They way you seem to see things these people should be deported as soon as their visa expires. But that is not how it works.

But to start a thread assuming that the population growth of Hispanics in Santa Clarita is due to illegal immigration is laughable. The reason for the increase in population is obvious. There are lots of Hispanics in California doing very well.

Another news story. Past 10 years the Hispanic population in Beverly Hills grew by 14%. I bet its those illegals moving in!

More illegals are here because they jumped our border. They weren't visa over stayers and both groups need to be deported. Don't care how it works in reality that's irrelevant to what our laws state.

It's not just Santa Clarita where these illegals are giving birth they are doing so all over our country. Nothing laughable or inaccurate to claim that a good majority of the Hispanic population growth is due to illegal immigration and their anchor babies.

Those ritzy areas including Santa Clarita have many illegals there because the rich elite in those towns hire them to clean their homes and other manual labor jobs on the cheap. It's not because American Hispanics are living there in large numbers.

To the person that left me a PM......

There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a fair wage. Who do you think were doing those jobs before millions of cheap illegals flooded our border?

There are unlimited visas for "legal" foreign crop pickers.

When a meat packing place was raided a few years ago Americans lined up around the corner to take those jobs because the employer had to pay a fair wage then.

Americans have always cleaned hotel rooms for a fair wage to until millions of cheap illegals took those jobs.

Bottom line, we have immigration laws that must be abided by both the employers and these border jumpers. Illegal immigration is unacceptable and unnecessary. The only ones who benefit from cheap illegal labor are those who hire them while the rest of us get the shaft in so many ways. Why would anyone want the rich to get richer on the backs of the American worker/taxpayer?

Enforcing our existing immigration laws works. These traitor politicians that don’t abide by these laws need to be locked up asap.
