Husband is flying from Charleston to Boson return irst week in April -- we got it for under 200 dollars. I just flew from Charleston to Boston -- on eway for 90 bucks.
Are you flying triple double first class or something.
So $5-6 a gallon gas
$600 per day for economy car rentals
$5,000 round Trip for domestic airfare
Over $1,000 per day to take a family of 4 to Disney World and that’s just park admission! Then hotels are exceeding $400 even $500 per night for standard rooms and food not included.
This is the new norm. Are we going to see wages climbing to reflect this or has the stimulus from Biden last year made everyone so wealthy and saved so much that this isn’t a pinch to anyone ?
A 1980s-style family trip to Disney carefree meaning fun eating out , park hopping, not cutting corners, getting that lunch for all on the plane …. Not worrying about gas…. Can easily stack up to a $25,000 trip or even higher even for 5 days and 4 nights , it’s jaw-dropping
To be fair, the prices for out of state Disney tickets have been crazy high for a long time and the park is always full. My family has always had one of our Florida residents buy tickets for that reason, even then they are way over priced and have been for over a decade.
But again the park is always full, and Disney has no issue price gouging, they do it all the time.
