Biden isn’t responsible for what’s going on. Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. But they love having their own country now. They aren’t anti Russia. They have no reason to be. They just want to live in peace and govern their own country. Putin is threatening that.

They weren't anti-Russian....right up until Russia invaded them. Oddly they weren't all that upset about the 2014 invasion where Russia took Crimea, probably because there was not a ton of lost life.

Let me assure you. every single Ukrainian I talk to currently has a DEEP hatred of Russia now. And its not something that's going to go away.

I kind of chuckle at your obsession with Biden's alleged incontinence.

But the way this is trending I'm betting Putin will be pooping his pants pretty soon.

I don't want to derail this thread, but opinions of the Ukrainians in USA does not matter. Matters only opinion of those who are in Ukraine right now. Of those, I personally know several who are originally from Eastern Ukraine who blame Zelensky regime for everything. Do I believe there are many hating Russia? You bet. I even know personally a few who are in Lviv right now. Let's wait and see what they have to say after the war.

I hope you are right. Perhaps Jill can give Putin some tips on how to deal with the stains...

I may be interacting with Ukrainians that are more directly involved. But the other ones I know are not saying good things either. Theyve seen friends and family killed. One of the civilians I talk to was driving a marked medical vehicle when a near hit by a anti tank weapon flipped it over. She was seriously injured. She hasnt said anything about the Russian people, but she has a deep hatred of their leadership.

This is a disaster for a country you share a border with.

That might be indeed a big disaster for Canada, but I don't think Mexico will be affected that much. Their Sinaloa Cartel is as good match to Ukrainian hatred. But Canada is indeed in trouble. So good Ukrainians love USA...

The Russians? Hmm.....

I guarantee you the front-line troops do. Listening to their radio transmissions its clear their logistics are sub optimal. The Officers in theater do. We estimated 20 general rank officers in theater. Ukraine has taken out 6 I think at the moment? And one I think also died after his own troops ran him over with a tank. (maybe accidentally, maybe not).

Their air force is taking losses at a daily basis, and are now facing starstreak missiles. The flares-they do nothing.

But the Russian people? Nope. Being lied to at a level that might even shame fox news. Or maybe not. Some know better, but those that do fear for their safety if they speak up.

More importantly does Putin? And the answer to that is....I think he is learning it, but doesn't truly see the scope of it. No one want to give him bad news. But this clearly has gone bad. So they're....inching there way there. Meanwhile people are dying.
