Thats because there is a difference between a community and the activist groups that claim to speak on behalf of a community. Its similar to how I never met a single black person who thinks defunding the police is a good idea. Yet Dem politicians around the country bowed to BLM nonsense like cowards.

The problem is that organizations can be infiltrated and hijacked by people with ulterior agendas and ideologies. And they pressure stupid, elderly politicians into bending to their will because they dont actually have friends from that group, so the extremist in their ears is their only reference point.

This seams very much like the Nike - kaepernic war of a few years ago. The conservative family values warriors will beat their drums. But Disney's core customers (parents of 《 18 YO children, who are younger and more liberal than the family values warriors), will just keep on going, and likely actually approve of Disney's actions.

Well that's the thing. If Disney does not lose business then there is little risk for them. It really just takes parents who do not agree with their ideology to simply not do business with Disney in any way.

I really do not think this was a knee jerk action on Disney's part. I would be very surprised if they didn't do this without doing the market research to show it wouldn't adversely affect their business. In point of fact, and if correct, this will roundly **** off the family values warriors, I wouldn't be surprised is this move did not come as a result of market research showing it would have a positive effect on business.

Is this for real? No boys, no girls, no women, no men. Have they gone complete nuts

I'd argue that this is just minutia compared to the myriad of other issues out there worth giving attention.

Elitist much? A lot of grandparents pays for the family trips like myself and husband and several people I know. Have you checked the prices?

Then they should be speaking out if it bothers them, but they are pretty silent.
