Actually Governor DeSantis's message is aimed directly at idiots like you, who are advocates of illicit activities. His policies and legislative agenda is to protect the constitution and therefore protects/ helps ordinary-everyday people.
What I fail to grasp is the sheer hate so many have for DeSantis. What exactly did he do to garner such wrath? Inquiring minds wanna know...
Thankfully the haters are outnumbered by those who love DeSantis. He's already raised $100 million, just for reelection for governor of Florida. He's projected to win by a mile. Recent polls are also showing that he's increasingly favored to be the GOP candidate in 2024 over Trump. If Trump choses not to run in 2024, DeSantis will have the nomination in the bag.
And then it's off to the races. And I dare anyone to place a bet for Biden against DeSantis in 2024, or Kamala Harris should she take over prior to then.
The only thing that sucks about all of this is the sheer number of days between now and November 2024.

I think the terms used today (marxism, libs, commies, etc) deny and ignore the very wide swath of people who are actually not even close to what others call them.
Conservatives tend to think anyone who isn't just like them is not American, is dangerous, is "a lib," or any of the other pejorative terms tossed out. What that proves is they have zero knowledge of history or understand ideology, and are parroting what they hear on TeeVee.
The fact so many only see one extreme or the other proves how disingenuous and manipulative people are, and how gullible most are for following it.
Those terms have been commandeered to now mean: "anyone who doesn't agree with my (of course correct) viewpoint is a (commie, marxist, lib, blah blah blah)."
Dislike liberal ideas and policies? Then give up your current or future Medicare and social security benefits, as those are the policies of 'libs' in the past, to protect 'muricans. Stop taking money from the government, and "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps," as the conservative rallying cry goes. Anything else is an excuse, as the country's been told.
