Bill Clinton seemed to validate the idea that being a known cad is not a hindrance for a man seeking political office. Trump seemed to turn his rakish reputation into a plus. Eric Greitens in Missouri is also trying to pull it off.

A cad is like a scoundrel. A cad is someone that behaves dishonorably to women.

We now live in a world where even bad news is good news unless there is a "R" next to your name then you are mud.

Trump was a cad for grabbing Groupies by their biscuit but Biden grabbing Tara Reade is ignored despite the #all women are to be believed mantra.

Hanging with the "D" crowd certainly gives a member more leniency and protection from the cancel mob and being controversial gets more ratings but can also lower your approval rating as we are seeing with Joe.

You don't need to be a cad, you just have to have some balls. Too many republicans are the suit and tie type conservatives and many of them are too quick to try to capitulate and try to appease the democrats which doesn't work. You need to be able to fight back and stick to your principles, preferably without turning into the type of politician who's main purpose of being in office is to pad their net worth. A tough person to find, given human nature and our culture.

It does take courage to go up against the progressive media slander machine.

That pretty much describes majority of politicians and entertainers.
