Why oh why this thin-skin eats away still for Donald Trump on John McCain. On the mans deathbed ....Donald Trump trashed the whole life of John McCain's legacy. The reason Trump lost McCain's home state. "Not" stolen from him. Trashing their Native Son on his death-bed and his military service as a POW and as a loser run for Pres along with McCains Congressional service.

WHY DID THE GOP STAND FOR THAT AND THOSE OF THEM IN THE MILITARY.....

Sure let Sarah Palin run from up to 50 others in Alaska I read are in the running too.

But lest we forget .... Sarah lost the Presidency for John McCain. Media loved her quips and mockings then .... and looked damn good making Donald Trump-like responses back then.

Sad part is she took over the spotlight and became as if she was running for Pres and John was more a VP. SARAH LOST THE PRESIDENCY FOR JOHN.

Sarah was a bit of a "Karen" before it came to be as uncool label ....cool if pro-Trump though.

Yep. Too many things were aligned against the GOP that year.

Are you saying Sarah helped?

Do any of you think Sarah and becoming a media darling to give them comedy skits to do and those ...."she said what" moments... HELPED JOHN?

He had a very good chance and you'all knew it if not for Sarah. VPs generally stay more silent.... yet aid in regional votes for a candidate. Last thing you want is a VP elect stealing your spotlight.

This forum has plenty of troll threads made. Just they troll if not pro-Trump. Just really. LEAVE MCCAIN MOCKING ALONE DONALD.

John McCain gets no support or sympathy from me. There wasn’t a place he didn’t want to bomb and was one of the biggest war hawks in Washington. Like many of the democrats currently in charge, he stuck around way too long and become more arrogant and set in his way and out of touch with the public. His crony Graham is poorly attempting to fill his shoes.

If more a Reagonite Republican that brought down the Iron curtain... STOP CALLING IT AS A WAR-MONGER.

It was Peace thru Strength. Is that not what Donald says? Start a Star Wars new class with the Navy, Army, Air Force and Marines... A Space one???

No.

Sarah was a last ditch effort to generate enthusiasm for the McCain ticket.

Obama in 2008 was like rain in the desert. There was virtually no chance of him losing.

And McCain was dirty. I think you don’t know much about McCain or politics or history based on this thread.

McCain was terrible and would never have beaten Obama regardless of who he picked as his running mate. There was no Trump to hate back then so Democrats didn't like him. A good part of the conservative base who are against foreign wars hated him. He was the biggest war monger in Washington.
