Hydrogen cars are simply electric cars with an extra unnecessary energy conversion step. It takes lot of energy to produce Hydrogen. A complete waste of time.

I think most people who push hydrogen have just decided irrationally to be anti-EV and just want to pretend that their is a better alternative that is being ignored.

I think we are 2 years away from actually seeing them on dealers lots for sale, w/ a range of 300+ miles, at <$50k out the door.

Haha. It's always in "2 years they'll be better."

"in a few years, they'll be everywhere."

Etc.

It's like the environmental people who predict that "in a few years" we'll all be under water or in a raging hellfire. Since like 1985.

It isnt the environmental people predicting it but this is all just about left vs right to you.

Nobody really needs to say "2 years it will be better" as if they need anything from others. It is heading in that direction whether they like it or not.

My solar system works just fine to power my home and to recharge my sedan.

I hope to soon ad an EV farm tractor into the mix. I have been looking at them for the past ten years at our local Ag fair.

Exactly. They obviously have no clue about the technology, nor the challenges of the distribution network that would be needed.

Rare photo of the 1st hydrogen charging station.
