I really hope no one interprets this as my claiming someone deserved such a thing, because I do not believe that at all, but...reading the article, I have to say that I don't understand why people still open their doors when people they don't know knock.
People make mistakes all teh time. Have you never been expecting someone ;heard a knock and said come on in the doors open.If not I dn't want to live where you do.
Why would I be fearful in VT. They're peaceful people. They're a bunch of hunters not rambo wannabes.
I'm peaceful 99% of gun owners are peaceful, despite your silly rambo remarks. Try telling Vermonters they should adopt your laws to become civilized & see how nice they are to you.
Theyre not a bunch of hunters either. Theyre people from all walks of life up there. Theyre just not into knee jerk do nothing politics.
the reason I figured you would be fearful is because theres no difference between VT gun owners & the people in DC that want the same rights. If your afraid of your neighbors having guns why not VT? I guess hypocrisy is a DC thing too.
Oh, & DC isn't in the northeast. Its pretty much an area of VA & MD, both southern states, midatlantic at best but definately not northeast.
Its proper to say VT is in the east. Most people would say VA & NC are in the south.
Anyhow, all three places respect your right to arm yourself for self defense. To not do so is a personal choice many victims of violent crimes make every day.
Easy for you, I intend to do what I have to, to protect my daughter and myself. I think a person who is not ready to use lethal force if necessary to protect their family, has no right to have one.
