the woketard liberals are likely to sue the first FL school system they can find that has any materials that refer to girls and boys, have pictures of girls and boys. No siree - the law clearly says everything has to be androgynous!!!!!
I just hope they go ahead and do it first thing in the fall, before the election.
Can you point to examples of teachers teaching kindergartners about sex? Because even without this law, that wouldn't be allowed.
What this law bans is the teacher answering questions about why their classmate has two moms. Or from mentioning their spouse. Or answering any questions about their pregnancy. Or guiding students to the appropriate restroom for their gender. Can't talk about sex, after all!
The "omg teaching 5 year olds about SEX" line that has become prominent is so rooted in fear and ignorance that it jumps right over the truth and slides into home base into conspiracy theory.
Teachers shouldn't be answering that question.
Maybe it's a stepmom, foster mom, aunt that's acting as a guardian, etc.
WTH would a teacher EVER talk about another child's family as part of "classroom instruction"? Is the teacher an authority on every family structure of every child in the classroom? Making lesson plans that invade kids and family privacy?
The only people that don't understand can't imagine not talking sex with little kids.
Everyone else understands it just fine. The law is logical and makes sense.
If as an ADULT you are freaking out because you feel your SEXUAL FREEDOM is violated when teachers can't talk about sex with 5 year olds...
Seek help. Immediately. It's needed.
Agreed.
I personally feel there was not a need for the bill in Florida since Sex ed under grade 5 in Florida was already banned but I am not opposed to it. My big issue with the bill is the portion that allows civil suits against teachers directly as a method to deter, opens the door to constant litigation. Perhaps I am averse to giving people new areas of litigation to pursue because of the number of Ambulance chasers we have in Florida and my experience in healthcare.
Having said that, I don't understand most of the reasons given as pushback against the bill. It's way over the top and most complaints are not even relevant to the bill itself, it's adults complaining about other adults, nothing to do with 5,6,7-year-olds.
I would have no complaints if the litigation portion was cut out. Hopefully it won't result in 100 lawsuits for silly stuff like a Rainbow sticker on a door. But this is Florida so I expect the worse and work back from there.

If it doesn't happen, then why do you care if there's a law against it?
Disney and the Temporary Victory Tax propaganda film

Getting back to Disney, it has long been engaged in under-handed activities including the production of propaganda. Keep in mind Disney was very much behind conning working people during WWII to start paying a federal and unconstitutional direct and un-apportioned tax on the property they earn by the sweat of their labor.
Walt Disney produced a propaganda video to get working people to surrender their right to not be taxed by the federal government directly, unless the tax was apportioned as commanded by our Constitution. The video promoted what was called the "Temporary Victory Tax" as a patriotic duty, when in fact the Temporary Victory Tax was a clever move by our federal government to get working people accustomed to paying a tax they were not subject to, and then never ending this kind of tax after the war.
The law says you can't have class instruction on sex topics for K through 3rd.
However, if a kid asks why does Susie have 2 moms, you can answer that some families are that way. If it goes beyond that into sexual orientation/identity/etc you have to notify the parents that you had a sex conversation with their child. It is only K through 3rd.
This law is reasonable.
Democrats more and more are saying child porn is okay and now oppose this law that most of their voters agree with. Democrats picked a supreme court justice who is soft on child porn. Democrats also voted for a president that took showers with his 12 year old daughter that according to her "likely weren't appropriate" and messed her up mentally. A president that on camera sniffs and pinches little girls, telling them they are so pretty. Have to wonder if there are forces within the party high up trying to sexualize children.
It simply reflects how damned bad of a president Trump was that there were enough people who would actually vote for somebody like Biden. I sure couldn't vote for Biden. But years ago I voted for Reagan both times and never regreted it. The country needs to find somebody like that to run for president.
I would imagine Disney has some pretty high level analysts much more educated than you that have weighed the pros and cons of the situation and have determined it won't. Companies don't just make decisions like this on a whim.
How would you have any clue about my education, corporate experience, or skill set? In my 35 years in the corporate world including significant time in senior management, I've seen a lot of stupid decisions by supposedly smart people and many just follow the herd as is the case with this crap.
