While I don't 100% agree with Disney's stance on this, I find it hysterical that people thing Disney is somehow going to "suffer" any losses because of this. I think there have been 4 posts on the same topic now? I'm sure they will be out of business in no time.

a loss was documented in the opening post. i don't know how you could have missed it.
i have yet to see a single poster claim disney would be driven out of business.
But in the larger picture, this is not good because people won't be spending money on these trips, and on the TV channels. In the end, it hurts the economy. In the end, the reduces our tax revenue and our ability to pay the country's bills that our elected government official continue to mismanage.
In the larger picture, Americans are the most profligate consumers the world has ever seen in recorded history. If they don't spend their money on Disney, they'll spend that money with someone else. No net negative on the larger picture.

If by "all" you mean Disney and its shareholders, and they're stupid enough to burn bridges with the 95% of parents who pay for their product, and enough people stop buying their product, then yes.
Too Big to Fail = Too Big to Exist.

You do you.
I don't have children but I find what they now purport to stand for to be vile and disgusting. And that's not good for a media company.

Time will tell.
Let's put it this way- I doubt their actions will HELP their bottom line. Many "boycotts" of the past have been very transient; people have short memories.
On the other hand, look at the tv ratings of CNN and mainstream media since they have embraced only liberal agendas. Their ratings have permanently tanked.
The law says you can't have class instruction on sex topics for K through 3rd.
However, if a kid asks why does Susie have 2 moms, you can answer that some families are that way. If it goes beyond that into sexual orientation/identity/etc you have to notify the parents that you had a sex conversation with their child. It is only K through 3rd.
This law is reasonable.
Democrats more and more are saying child porn is okay and now oppose this law that most of their voters agree with. Democrats picked a supreme court justice who is soft on child porn. Democrats also voted for a president that took showers with his 12 year old daughter that according to her "likely weren't appropriate" and messed her up mentally. A president that on camera sniffs and pinches little girls, telling them they are so pretty. Have to wonder if there are forces within the party high up trying to sexualize children.
"Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexualorientation orgender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or ina manner that is not age-
appropriate ordevelopmentally appropriatefor studentsin accordance to state standards."
Every single person, yourself included, who talks about teaching about sex to children or sexualizing children are clearly demonstrating that you didn't read the bill and are instead getting riled up right wing media.
Now, there are lots of interpretations of a vague law like this, but schools are now afraid of litigious parents so they are forced to follow the most conservative interpretation of the law. That is, no discussion of sexual orientation or gender identity at all in case a parent decides it's not age appropriate. That means no discussion about different types of families, no references to teacher's own spouses or families, no teaching pronouns...
So I go back to - why do you want the elimination of gendered restrooms? Teachers, based on a strict following of this law, cannot discuss gender identity to refer to which restroom to use.
For older kids, it's still just as damaging. A student will not be able to go to their school counselor, teacher, or another trusted adult with questions about their sexuality if they come from an abusive household, because that adult will be mandated to report back to the parent. This is the most infuriating part of this bill to me, having grown up with several kids who got kicked out of their homes in high school when their parents found out they were gay. It puts teachers and counselors in a position where they cannot do their jobs.

If you believe that, then maybe public school is not for your child. Saying that their friends' mothers and fathers, or even their teacher, is the equivalent of Thomas Jefferson raping Sally Hemmings is a take, and not one that should be taken seriously when considering school policy.
That George Washington owned slaves is a completely age appropriate thing for a 1st grader. Do you think first graders are barred from Mount Vernon? Pretty sure we learned that the early presidents often had slaves when covering slavery in my first and second grade classes in rural Georgia in the early 90s. If the community that planted a burning cross on my lawn because my family was Jewish around the same time could broach the topic of slavery sensitively, then why could something as innocuous as the existence of homosexuality be a challenge?

Yeah, no. Their job? Is to teach kids academics. Not discussing masturbation. Also, do you NOT understand what "classroom instruction" means?
There is no such thing as a 'gendered' restroom. Boys use this, girls use that. By sex.
And in kindergarten, a bathroom is usually attached each classroom and every child uses the same bathroom.
How are today's adults so colossally stupid?
Ask yourself: Why as a sexual adult you are throwing a tantrum because you feel YOUR sexual freedom is being tamped down because a 5 year old can't learn about sex from his public school teacher?
That's grooming, dear. Pedophiles are right there with you.

Do you really know if Thomas Jefferson raped slaves?
“We’ve all known for years that Disney is left-wing, but many of us somewhat tolerated it bc their product gives our children joy,” Father of four Kurt Buchert said. “But that Zoom call we all heard this week is utterly insane… a group of woke gay activists talking about an agenda to foist on our children about trans and LGBT ideology. It’s blatant child abuse and grooming. Way over the line.”
Another Daily Wire interviewee, Aaron Sherrill, said, “The events of the past few weeks have convinced us that we will never give Disney any of our money again. We are disgusted with them. I would be sad if I wasn’t so revolted by their actions of late.”
Sherrill and his wife Catherine have been Disney annual pass holders for nearly 10 years, and “spent tons of money” on the parks, merchandise, and streaming service.
Disney has been a major part of many people’s lives, and many parents undoubtedly wanted to share the magic they experienced with Disney with their children. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to give up the things you love to stand up for your values and beliefs.
I know many want people to cancel Disney because of their stance... I get it.
But in the larger picture, this is not good because people won't be spending money on these trips, and on the TV channels. In the end, it hurts the economy. In the end, the reduces our tax revenue and our ability to pay the country's bills that our elected government official continue to mismanage.
Ultimately - we all lose.
Now I am not saying to continue to support Disney... that's up to each person. But the depravity that they have decided to push has more far reaching circumstances to the country.

I canceled Disney+ a few days ago. Sux because I like the Marvel and Star Wars content but I have all the ones I like on DVD anyway. Eight bucks to be spent elsewhere.
