The culture in the U.S. might be getting a little weird, but it's still preferable to live here than it is in Russia. At least you can say whatever you want here without fearing you will go to jail. You can't even say the word "war" in public there without getting into trouble. People here really take freedom for granted...
I have nothing against drag queens reading to children as long as their background has been checked free of sex crimes. Everyone who works with children should be checked for that.
Drag is a fetish, and has no more place at a school than someone sporting a strap on *****.
Little Bobby "why are those men dressed like that?"
Teacher - "because they feel it's important for them to expose you to their fetish, Bobby"

I couldn't post the link from my phone, but that is the source.
I checked this publication, and -
"Determining how many street children are in Russia is
quite difficult.According to estimates by the ministry
of the Interior in Russia, there are from five hundred thousand to two and a half million street children today.
Their number constantly fluctuates and develops on the
basis of data received from internal affairs bodies. The
figures given by official bodies differ from those used by
non-governmental organizations, sometimes twice.so,
according to the Russian children's Fund, the country has three million homeless children, according to the
Russian movement "In defense of childhood"- four
million." https://bbrc.in/wp-content/uploads/2...BBRC28_017.pdf
So from five hundred thousands to four million.
They still can't figure it out, these "specialists."
At that, they base their so-called "studies" on some outdated material from 2006 -2011.
Russia is a cold country, so if it would have had all these "homeless children" - where do you think they would congregate, but at the railway stations/metro/bus depos.
THIS was actually a case back in the 90ies, and no one was questioning "how many homeless children" were there. Everyone KNEW there was a problem, it was right in the face, and back then the estimate was put at 2 million homeless children.
But those were the most devastating, most murderous post-Soviet years.
To talk NOW about some three million homeless children in Russia is funny, to say the least.
Some people have too much time on hands, or too much money for all kind of "researches" apparently.
America for all of it's greatness we have a real problem in our culture right now in my opinion. People on the far left are really trying to break down every societal norm we have right now and I'm not sure we're going to be able to stop them.
You have the Russians and the Chinese embracing masculinity and feeding young people images of power and dominance and pride of their nations and the left here is actively working on dismantling all of that stuff. Our military leadership is turning into a real joke. More concerned about toxic masculinity and pronoun use. It's all a bunch of crap in my opinion. We need tough roughnecked hardon types that can put their foot up someone's ass when needed, not soft effeminate wimps worried about offending people.
Who's to say what "norm" is. Our culture and society is constantly changing with each generation. Of course we can't stop it. And we will never return to the past you want.

This change is actively being pushed by special interests, and yes it can be stopped.
Russia has its own problems. One of them is the large number of children on the streets. Not adults on the street, CHILDREN. At least 1 million children are on the streets in Russia. Kids running away from abusive homes. Children being abandoned by broken families.
No source, just outlandish claims.
