EVERY polititican is for themselves 1st. Nearly all politicians overspend taxpayers money, BOTH red & Blue.

The more the top 1% gets people to be partisan, the more they can steal from us all.

Blue vs, Red is a massive con. Don't fall for it, or if you do, realize there are larger more powerful people/forces conspiring against you, than those dreaded Republicans.

In the movie the Sixth Sense, the kid says "I see dead people"

Well, "I see parasitic elites", & they make politicians look like the Easter Bunny.

How about suggesting some real & well-thought out possible solutions? Expend some mental energy.

Let me give you a hint....its how big gov't & big biz rig the game, that allows them to control the 99%.

Your suggetions could start there.
We could learn from history.

If you just focus upon 2 indisputable facts/trends:

1) Fortune 500's increasing share of production to beyond its current 66% of GDP, to 75%, then 80% ect..

2) Gov't increasing its spending beyond its current 50% of GDP, to 55%, then 60% ext..

Take these trends out 5, 10, 20 years, what does America look like?

It is no longer a free market economy, that is for sure. Its more like Russia...an oligarchy.

Anyone out there care to share your thoughts...beyond lazy 1 liners?

The real question has been, for decades now; how do we change this?.
Term limits, eliminating payoffs disguised as contributions; both are solid beginnings.
And both are also pipe dreams, leaving few options other than more civil unrest; since power is never relinquished voluntarily.

As the middle class gets poorer then so do the corporations and companies that produce goods and services since there will be less and less people able to afford to buy their products. Fact of life.

This is why corporations globalize and monopolize.

Once they've cut their competition and with no room to expand anymore they then work to cut salaries, benefits and eventually bankrupt their existing corporations and move into something new.

Then, the % of GDP being generated by the Fortune 500 over time, its the same shocking revelation.

The 99% are becoming powerless against the 1%....we are insignificant if we each stand alone, or if we remain divided into 2 political parties. The 1% have become totally insulated from the rest of us.
Well, of course...what else did you expect?!

A tyrannical govt is going to do tyrannical things, and attempt to justify it.

They have the federal law enforcement agencies backing them up...try going out and buying a machine gun, without jumping thru the govts legal hoops...the ATF will be breaking down your door and put you in prison for 10+ yrs and a $250K fine!

Citizens owning machine guns gives the people the ability to fight back against the Govt...naturally the tyrants will try to stop that anyway they can, and the ATF, FBI, etc all comply with the Govt.

Not to mention, get caught with an illegal machine gun in any state...and even state and local law enforcement will come down HARD on you as hard as the ATF or FBI!! (that is really unbelievable)! Cities and states should be the LAST ones enforcing federal gun laws!

The difference is its not just doing business in the US. Many companies are global. Many even park their money offshore in never never land.

This is true. The government has always been in control by the elite. They control the colleges since the beginning of this country, and every President and major congressional leader has helmed from one of these colleges where they were hand picked by the administration to do the bidding of their masters.

This is why we see more and more monopolies and less choice. And with every law being passed, it seems we are being forced to purchase third party products.
