The Russian guard service declared Wednesday that it had directed a test send off of its intercontinental long range rocket, the Sarmat.

The rocket was terminated from a storehouse launcher at 3:12 p.m. Moscow time at the Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region of northern Russia toward the Kura test site on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's far east.

The guard service's assertion said that it arrived in the "assigned region in Kamchatka."

The service noticed that after the finish of a test program, the Sarmat would go into administration with Russia's Strategic Missile Forces. The RS-28 Sarmat is intended to supplant the Soviet-period Voevoda ICBM, known by the NATO assignment SS-18 Satan.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin saluted the military on their fruitful rocket test, saying it would "give thought to the people who are attempting to compromise Russia," as per the service proclamation as cited by the state-run TASS news office.

The Sarmat was one of the weapons Putin referenced in a 2018 discourse bragging new weaponry he said would deliver NATO protections "totally pointless." US authorities made light of the danger at that point.

Interesting that since this war started, the forum has seen an increasing amount of new posters. I wonder why that is.

Did OP mention that Sarmat may reach the USA via SOUTH Pole? Where there is ZERO antimissile defense? As it is all concentrated on the NORTH trajectories? And, that Sarmat is capable of bearing non nuclear warheads (up to 16)?
