Rep. Ilhan Omar sees Christians singing on a plane; wonders what would happen if Muslims did the same
Well, what would happen if Christians sang in a Muslim country? Who would fare better... Christians singing in an Islamic country... or Islamists singing in a "Christian" country?
And I thought Muslim is a race, not a religion. Maybe we should be comparing Islam to Christianity...
How many jews or christians have taken down planes in the usa in the last 20ish years. Thats why its a bad idea omar.
Lol, that reminds me of a recent thread where a poster tried to dog on Florida vs. NYC by noting that NYC hadn't had an attack like the Pulse nightclub.....they got some reminders about 9-11 and never came back to the thread lol.
Maybe we just have some extremely young posters that just are oblivious to 9-11.
I do think some slight parallels can be drawn and are worth mentioning here in this thread.
The praying/singing on public airlines, the killing of Palestinians. It’s relevant imo.
Not all Muslim want to kill Christians and not all Orthodox Jews n Israel want to kill Palestinians- but there certainly is a subset.
Israelis defend themselves to whatever degree is necessary to prevent Muslims from killing them. This is a very normal response to violent murderous next door neighbors who are born and raised to kill you.
In any event, that is certainly not the topic here.
Ilhan Omar exists to antagonize and spread hatred between people. She is a fraud, a failure, and quite frankly, a huge ahole.
Last I checked, a bunch of Christians didn't hijack a few planes and crash them into buildings. Or in her own words, "some people did some things". So I guess there would be some cause for concern if a group of Muslims broke out into prayer or a song, no?
Umm the shoe bomber guy? Off the top of my head.
I could come up with some more maybe?
Terrorism is not just for Muslims FYI.
maybe you could come up with some other ones.
Richard Colvin Reid (born 12 August 1973), also known as the "Shoe Bomber", is a British terrorist who attempted to detonate a shoe bomb on a transatlantic flight in 2001. Born to a father who was a career criminal, Reid converted to Islam as a young man in prison after years as a petty criminal. Later he became radicalized and went to Pakistan and Afghanistan, where he trained and became a member of al-Qaeda.
