Several studies have shown that when social scientists get liberal-leaning experiment subjects to think about their own deaths or make them feel threatened, some left-wingers adopt more conservative values.
"People embrace political conservatism (at least in part) because it serves to reduce fear, anxiety, and uncertainty; to avoid change, disruption, and ambiguity; and to explain, order, and justify inequality among groups and individuals," it said.
There's evidence that this fear plays out in how conservative and liberal brains are shaped, too.
Researchers have taken brain images of people with different political leanings and found that those who self-identify as conservative have larger and more active right amygdalas, an area of the brain associated with the expression and processing of fear.
A 2011 study looked at MRI scans of self-described conservative young adults and found they had more grey matter volume in the right amygdala than their liberal counterparts.
In 2013, another team of scientists expanded that research to show that conservatives generally have more activity in their right amygdala when taking risks than liberals do.
The study authors say this is some of the first experimental evidence that making people feel completely safe can (temporarily) change their politics and make them more liberal.
They call it fear; I would call it the ability to comprehend possible averse consequences. It's no surprise that conservative brains are more active. Liberals are known to be unrealistic idealists while conservatives are more pragmatic and have a logical understanding of life.
Most people who identify as liberal are just insane. There is a complete lack of logic and reason there.
How else could you explain them thinking children can decide their own gender at age 5 but at age 18 they're incapable of making a financial decision on student loans and therefore their loans should be forgiven.
They scream "trust the science" but think biological men should be in women's prison's and women's sports.
They demand that police be defunded because 13 unarmed black men are killed by police, but are silent about the additional 2,500 blacks who died due to their defund the police crusade.
Liberals are so hypocritical it has to be some type of mental disorder that prevents their brain from processing simple logic.

Rural healthcare has been and remains challenging all over the world.
The size of the local population is often too small to sustain most specialties and a full service hospital. Recruitment and retention of medical professionals is especially challenging.
Some geographic areas qualify as “Health Professional Shortage Areas” and as such may qualify for federal funding and visas/ waivers for grads of foreign medical schools.
People have freedom of movement and access to healthcare/ lack thereof, may be a factor of where people choose to live.

Okay, what about the liberal media's fear porn over covid? Under the age of 40 and healthy and you were more likely to die in a car accident on your way to get the vaccine then you were of covid.
Children were more likely to drown in a swimming pool than of covid yet nobody wanted to talk about that. I know a liberal couple who's 4 year old and 2 year old haven't interacted with anyone since the pandemic started out of pure fear. Those kids are going to be so messed up as adults but the parents can't get past the fear no matter what the statistics say.

spot on, I remember hearing a saying years ago that said something like "if your under the age of 30 and a republican you have no heart, if you're over the age of 30 and a democrat you have no brains".
