I promptly removed mine after the security checkpoint and nothing has happened since then. Although there’s generally no enforcement at the airport while waiting for a flight anyway.

Same nothing has happened to me. Only time is going through TSA's body scanner. Besides that walking through the airport no one cares anymore.
When I flew a couple weeks ago, this TSA agent yelled loud for everyone to put their masks over their nose, as they are walking up to him to hand their ID (so they need to take their mask off anyway), but the funniest part was this TSA dude shouting orders had his mask below his nose too. He didn't notice either as he kept telling people what do to as most just ignored him.
