Yes, we need to blame the politicians that take a scene like the "whipping", hype it and let their media run with it so we can be outraged.
The Illegal Aliens choose to cross the river, the "migrant" choose to reach for the reins, the agent was forced to move his horse quickly, the photographer that captured the moment choose to grab one snap shot of the scene and the media choose to headline the photo of the poor dark skinned "migrant" being whipped by the white and no doubt racist border patrol agent...
I'd say the Border Patrol agents were just doing their jobs but given what the Biden admin. is doing to America I don't even know why they continue to bother?
The Border Patrol creed is "Honor First". They continue to serve because they took an oath and are trying to uphold it in spite of illegal policies imposed by the Biden cabal. This video shows a tense exchange between Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz and agents in Laredo, TX last January. Chief Ortiz works directly for the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Chris Magnus and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Magnus is a liberal career law enforcement executive with ZERO border security and immigration experience. Prior to CBP Magnus was the Chief of Police in Tucson, AZ and Richmond, VA,and Fargo, ND. In December 2014, as Chief of the Richmond PD Magnus was photographed holding a Black Lives Matter sign at a protest. Secretary Mayorkas is a career CBP bureaucrat. That's what the men and women of the Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection are dealing with when they report to work for their shifts.
When you don't own your mistakes, you only block yourself from learning and learning not to repeat it. And image becomes more important than truth.
I made a mistake in a post on the bunny thread that is now locked, as I thought the bunny intervened a second time.
What I don't like about them not apologizing, is that those agents paid a price for what they accused them of. If Joe was a stand up guy, he would invite them to the white house and openly apologize and admit his wrong to them. Which would also move the news media who said horrible things about them to also apologize. And in not apologizing, they just dishonor them all over again.
Ol' Oatmeal in the Oval has a history of insults and slander against decent, honest people. His lies about the BP are just one example. We have the case of him calling an innocent teenager a racist, just for defending his life from a mob of violent, vicious thugs that were trying to kill him. Yet actual, violent domestic terrorists that have preyed on innocent people for years, he says are just an idea, and he refuses to call them out. He refuses to call out racist supremacist groups.
Because the mainstream media is propaganda, many will hear about border patrol whipping people, but never hear the truth.
Because the truth doesn't fit the agenda of the media or the Democratic party. Neither of which care if they have to fabricate lies in order to manipulate the American people and push a vile agenda.
Biden (and Harris follows along) makes gaffes like that all the time. A couple of examples are the border agents on the horses, and Kyle Rittenhouse (a "white supremacist").
But the one I find most memorable was when Obama said "The Cambridge police acted stupidly" when he didn't know the details - all he saw was racism (which must be something he obsesses on all the time). If them trying to protect a guys house when it appeared that someone was trying to break in the back door was "stupidly", then we need more "stupid" on the part of cops everywhere.
He says "you" and it could be "the government". It should be:
"On August ____ you, Jen Psaki, stood before us and proclaimed that hard-working CBP agents illegally whipped ... Since they've been cleared by what was going to be a 'fast and thorough investigation' that took 8 months...are you EVER going to apologize for what you said that's been proven wrong?"
