The Commission found that illegal workers comprise as much as one-third of immigrants, and that illegal immigration creates a surplus of low-skilled, low-wage labor in the U.S. labor market. Experts on the panel testified that while illegal immigration to the U.S. depresses employment and wages for low-skilled American citizens, Black men are disproportionally affected.
Why do so many blacks not care about this? We see them right here in this forum. Are they so blindly supportive of the Democrats not to see that their policies on this issue are effecting them negatively just like it does white Americans and other races?

...and at the same time giving the illusion they will increase benefits to blacks, etc

I agree with the OP, but I do think some blacks see this as being harmful to them, as evidenced by voting trends since 2020's election where Trump increased his black vote by almost 1/2. Still, 12% is paltry, but recent polls (if you believe polls) show blacks leaving the Dem party in much higher numbers than 12%.
Supporting illegal immigration isn't the only way Libshurt blacks...inner city crime, defund the police, pushing abortion, forcing them to stay is failed urban schools.
There so much the Libs are doing to harm the African-American community, it becoming obvious to more and more of its members. The media isn't going to point it out to them though, & many of them dont watch Fox News.
The Republican party needs to advertise in places where the message will reach the black community. Billboards in urban areas would be a good start that isnt too costly.
Being an American regardless of color is a leg up over being an immigrant.
You kids have the field advantage. Know the rules and the playground. You speak the language.
Now it's up to your supportive parents to get you to the ball game on time or you don't get to play.
Family is most important. They are your moral compass. Steer you right into being a productive member of society.

We spend Billions of dollars per year to provide all manner of services to our Illegal Alien "pets". Imagine what all that money and effort could do to help citizen minorities and others that are struggling to get by?
We could end homelessness. Biden is putting up Illegals in Hotels and giving them phones and everything they desire while ignoring homeless citizens.

Blacks should look at the policies not what party supports or doesn't support certain policies. Why shouldn't they take a stand against illegal aliens (no such thing as an undocumented immigrant) who are here in violation of our immigration laws? Do they support law breakers?
As for your last sentence you are full of it. Most conservatives do not fit your description of them these days. How are they turning blacks against Hispanics who are here legally? It's not a far right agenda to oppose illegal immigration. Are you for real?
Trump made inroads... increased his black vote by 50% between 2016 and 2020.
I think more black men than women were warming up to him.
There was the Ice Cube request for help as well. Trump met with him. Biden did not.
