There is ONE simple goal in lobbying...to influence publicly elected Govt officials, (that hold the power needed to effect change), for what the corporations are wanting.
$1 = 1 vote is what it is. We have a ‘unfettered free market’ democracy. As much as the market will bear. It’s ridiculous to defend.

The law isn't illegal. A law, by definition, cannot be illegal. It can be ruled unconstitutional but not illegal. The maroons arguing that a previous law says something else are forgetting that a basic principle of conflicting laws is that the latest one enacted supercedes.
