Horrible stories from those who have managed to get out. Russians are trying to force civilians into Russia.
"...The centres have been compared by Ukrainian officials to those used during Russia's war in Chechnya, when thousands of Chechens were brutally interrogated and many disappeared.
Oleksandr and Olena were fingerprinted, photographed from all sides, and interrogated for several hours by Russian security officers - "like in a prison", he says.
They worried that the Russians would look at their phones, and so they cleared all evidence from their devices of anything to do with Ukraine - including photos of their daughter in front of a Ukrainian flag.
They were right to worry. Oleksandr says that during their interrogation, Russian security officers examined photographs, phone call history and contact numbers on their devices for links with journalists or government and military officials.
"If a person was suspected of being a 'Ukrainian Nazi', they took them to Donetsk for further investigation or murder," says Oleksandr, although the BBC has not been able to verify this claim. "It was very dangerous and risky. Any small doubt, any small resistance - and they could take you to the basements for interrogation and torture. Everybody was afraid to be taken to Donetsk....""
A little flashback that didn't age well. Even less so given recent events and how those same camps are still operating in the US under President Biden.
Putin needs to be censured for war crimes and him.and anyone involved need to.be arrested!
Which of course, we have no power to do. But we need to publicize this so that more than just the west ostracizes Russia. And continue to supply weapons.

Good job America doesn't have any camps where they just keep suspects indefinitely, in their orange jump suits, on an island naval base.
This is not a tacit post of support for Russia; merely a reminder to perhaps not throw such big stones when your house is made with pretty thin glass.
The description doesn't sound like concentration camps. Looks like a processing center of some kind where they try to collect intelligence or sort out combatants from the civilians.
NATO should go ahead and demand a cease-fire, then send in special forces along with U.N. special forces with full air support. NATO has the ability to get this resolved, and establish peace.

It would be nice if any war mongers join military and participate in those activities, they advocate for, themselves.
These are propaganda lies. Russia is fighting Nazi's that have invaded Russia and liberating people from um, areas um....within Russia or perhaps somewhat adjacent.
Recently the unarmed aid ship Moskva rescuing orphans of Uranian aggression was sank by Nazi forces. We condemn this attack which killed no one and the Moskva did not sink.
