This new map was also approved by the Florida Legislature...
Creating minority-majority districts by looping Tallahassee with parts of Jacksonville is racial gerrymandering. It is not as though the entire Florida panhandle had a majority of minorities, because in that case, creating a district that is minority-majority would not be a racial gerrymander.
Race should not be a factor when determining where districts are drawn, just as age and gender should not be a factor.
