Glad to see he carries. Although the negligence is not cool, and he deserves whatever repercussions for being negligent. It's so easy to fly with a firearm, not sure why he didn't do it the legal way.
He won the sympathy vote by lying and never stopped, despite being exposed.
Definitely playing the entitlement card. Has multiple speeding and driving w/o a license violations and now this. Me or you would be sitting in the pokey by now.

He father claims his son is confused.
Numerous traffic violations including driving with a revoked license. Can’t imagine his insurance premium, if he is insured.
He claimed cartels were kidnapping American children and selling them as sex slaves.
He attempted to bring a knife to 4 different school visits that prohibit weapons on school grounds.
Then came his lies of cocaine induced orgies amongst Congress Critters which he later admitted, he made up.
He seems to be running for a second term in a new district that unlike his home district is more favorable to re-electing him. Nothing requires him to live in the district he seeks to represent.
And now his second attempt to carry on a loaded gun onto a flight.

The Left is scared of this conservation christian, they attack him at every opportunity.
Actually the predominant opinion on the Left is not against conservation ("prevention of wasteful use of a resource") at all. There are quite a few influential Republicans in North Carolina who are working to get someone else elected in that district, so the dislike of Cawthorn for his immaturity, entitlement and hypocrisy is bipartisan.
