So I use 4 for these to get the same brightness as 2 of the others? That doesn't save much.

I got some nice LED lights for my garage each 4 foot section is 54 Watts those do work well compared to old florescent good deal on Amazon. I'm not against LED really why does it have to be forced?

That's not necessarily price gouging. It's more like supply and demand - there's not much demand for incandescent bulbs, nor are there many manufactured.

I looked at Walmart they don't even sell those 60W cheap incandescent white bulbs anymore used to be $3 for 6. They didn't last more then 6 months.

LEDs are all the rage right now, but give it another 5=10 yrs and there will something better to take their place!

There are actually some really GREAT LED bulbs, sold ONLY overseas... WHY you ask? Ask the government.

This is quite true. I only use LED bulbs that are made from glass, for this very reason.
