I don’t know how much of this is Google and how much of this is personal preference. Your spam settings are partially determined by you. So if you send emails to spam yourself, then you can’t blame G-Mail. If G-Mail is doing it purposefully theirs certainly grounds for some sort of suit.
plausible deniability the latest left wing mantra, that, and 'I don't remember"
Yes, anyone can sue for anything. That doesn't mean there's any merit. In her case there was not and the lawsuit was dismissed. Google is a private company is not required to run paid ads for everyone so even if they wanted to have a policy of only running ads for certain Democrats that wouldn't violate any laws.
Delivery and handling of mail is much closer to a utility then say, Youtube.

Actually, Google appears to be saying that republican email targets are better at using Spam filters.
This makes sense. Gmail adjusts to users behaviors, and will automatically move emails to spam if the user has, in the past, moved similar messages to spam.
So. Republican marketers. You've trained your recipients to ignore you. It's not Google, it's you.
Occasionally gmail messes up. It's really easy when it does. You click twice and done, you've marked the email as not spam and now they'll go through to your regular inbox.
1) 1D10T error. GOP users aren't tech savvy enough to properly operate their email. Personally I don't think that's all that likely as the primary problem. GOP voters are likely a bit older though so they're probably as a group slightly less proficient at operating their email than DNC voters.
2) GOP spams more.
No actual study data but from another article Yahoo and Outlook placed DNC emails in spam 34 and 27% of the time, so still less than half the spam rate of of GOP emails. Without knowing how many emails they placed in spam from the GOP hard to really say anything. If you Yahoo is putting 34% of DNC emails in spam and 70% of GOP emails in spam, just further substantiates the second point. GOP spams more so gets sent to spam more.

If this was the case the numbers would be about even!
My Representative is Paul Gosar. His staff sends out a bunch of stuff that I don’t read and it goes straight to spam. Guess what? I’m still gonna vote for him, assuming he runs again.
But now I understand why it goes straight to spam, I guess?
Disgraceful that a free mail service is not smart enough to ensure that 100% of political mailings regardless of their origin should go into the Junk Folder!
Agreed.
The democrats may have been smart and signed up for GOP campaign emails and then marked them as spam. Seems that would have cause those email addresses sending them to end up being blacklisted. I wouldnt hold it past google to do something but it also could have been a devious move by some democrat groups. Wouldnt be that hard to do.
I just do not understand how these big tech companies are willing to ruin their reputations, and potentially lose business.
That and potentially come under governmental scrutiny.
Additionally, don't they have any ethics when it comes to fair election practices?
If I were in charge, I might have wanted a (R) to win over a (D), but I am not going to sabotage one party over another, since both are trusting my platform to get their message out.
