Well yeah but not a murder conviction. No murder took place but he did handle things badly and apparently not the first time. No more than 2 years. Less considering extenuating circumstances - or not.

Apparently, Floyd was still alive when they put him in the ambulance. Open to correction on that one.

I am un-sympathetic. He killed a guy who was not a threat. And I would rather not go through another round of Floyd protests if he skates free.

But that's the thing - he didn't kill Floyd. Floyd died from a double overdose while being unnecessarily restrained. Chauvin did mistreat him and should have taken steps to save him, so he's not innocent but he did not kill Floyd.

He was convicted of murder in a court. We all saw the act in full color.

Not interested. Leave his behind right there.

Maybe he should get one in another venue. However, that won't change the facts in the case.

Not guilty of murder and to say there was racism involved was pure speculation. This was a mob lynching.

Every other convicted criminal is allowed to appeal if they can approve they have grounds for one.

So what you really mean to say is that the "peaceful" protesters won, and succeed in their attempt to silence people. As apparently they have you so scared of what they "might" do you are willing to ignore the possibility that this guy actually does deserve a new trial.

That is a very disturbing thought...

He choked out a handcuff man on a public street while cameras were rolling. Floyd being a criminal or a saint has nothing to do with what I saw on video. Chauvin has every right to file for an appeal but he murdered a man on video for the whole world to see. He is exactly were he needs to be. A criminal with badge is still a criminal.
