Former senator & war veteran, Col. Richard Black, criticizes America's deranged foreign policies and claims that the Biden administration is leading America toward World War III.
But democrats might be brainwashed enough to believe nuclear war is somehow in our best interests... They may not know exactly where Ukraine is on a map, but they seem certain that we should be rushing America's young people over there to defend it. The idea of lobbing nukes can't be far off in their minds...
Ah, so this is how the democrats plan to purge the USA of it's conservatives. Just nuke the southern states and bible belt and then they control the USA indefinitely. Of course, they will blame it on Russia.
When did the Party of Ronald Reagan become Pro-Russian?
Russia is not the Soviet Union anymore, those days are long gone. Russia has a vast amount of natural resources -- it is frankly idiotic that the west has not attempted to have better relations with Russia over the past two decades. If anything the west has only tried to antagonize and encroach upon Russia via NATO expansion, despite the fact that NATO no longer has a Soviet enemy to oppose anymore. It's almost like NATO spent the past two decades trying to push Russia to turn back into the Soviet Union -- the Russians simply want to modernize and become more western, while the west has continually tried to push them away.

Correct. Russia has funds for bribes, the Soviets didn't.

Nonsense. NATO countries have been trading with Russia, even arming Russia. But as Russia feel into their fascist kleptocracy trap, their government had to come up with an external enemy.

Ever heard of lobbying?
That's just the polite American way of saying "bribery".

The west keeps Russia as the "external enemy", and the Putin regime keeps the west as the "external enemy", and the defense industries keep making a fat profit.
I think Orwell's 1984 offers a dialogue on this concept of perpetual war, sort of similar to this situation.
For it to happen, both sides have to participate.
Ukraine is being used as a proxy to fight Russia.
Russia interfered in Syria, so the west was not very happy with Putin for foiling their middle east domination scheme.

That's - sorta my point. The Soviet Union had no hard currency to feed their lobbying effort. Russia does. So of course they started buying anyone who could be bought. The NRA comes to mind - whatever happened to them, anyway?

Until Russia decided to start their campaign of landgrabs, the West was quite happy to do business with Russia - even arming Russia. The exceptions being the countries that had first-hand experience with being under Russia's control - Poland, the Baltic states etc.

This war is Russia's choice. No one else wanted this.
Imagine if Canada & Mexico were unfriendly neighbors, and were amassing troops on our border.
What would we do?
