No, I would bet it is worse for democrats than the polls show. The fact that the polls are showing republicans with a lead means deep trouble for the democrats.

Interesting to me that so many people are indoctrinated to the point that they'll vote for anybody their party throws out there. D or R, makes no difference. But we've got a real good example right now. If, God forbid, something should happen to the sitting POTUS, these people (and the rest of us!) will get someone they emphatically rejected as a candidate in her own right.

I don't suspect a Harris presidency could be any worse than a Biden presidency.
Different president, same sh/tshow.

Well yes, one should always take partisan information with a grain of salt.

That said, this is a marist poll and it is saying the same story that most of the others are and that is not good news for the democrats in the midterms.

Just because someone from the right is gleefull about it doesn't make it false.

I live in a swing area (for now unless it gets redistricted) and I like my moderate (D) congressional rep. Biden's unpopularity is putting them at risk this year.

You misspelled God Willing.

Not a fan of Legs up Harris obviously but willing to roll the dice after 1.5 years of Veggie Joe.

Here is a direct link to the poll conducted by Marist: https://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-con...2204271123.pdf

From the article:

Oof! It is bad enough, for the Democrats, to have lost Independents, but now they have lost Latinos... If Democrats permanently lose the Latino vote, they will never win another Presidential election...
That'll get them to close the border, deport all of the illegal invaders and their children no matter how long they've been here then finish the wall.

Trump has worse unfavorable/favorable rating for Apr 2022 than Biden's unfavorable/favorable for Apr 2022 in the new Marist poll referenced by OP.

Also Biden's unfavorabe rating in that new Marist poll (Apr 2022) is the same as Biden's unfavorabe in Aug 2020 - a few months before Biden won the election.

I agree that it is not looking good for the Democrats and the polls are probably accurate.

The problem is that there is a cohort of conservative posters on this forum that spent years saying that all polls are rigged and that all of the polling companies are run by liberals so they can't be trusted. Maybe the OP wasn't a part of that, but there are thousands of these types of posts.

If it turns out that the polls were wrong and the Democrats outperform, a lot of these people will claim voter fraud like they did in 2020. Just like some Democrats claimed that Trump won in 2016 purely because of Russian interference (which isn't true).

On this forum though, the hyper partisans are mostly on the right. Will be interesting to see how they cope if things don't do their way in the midterms.

Harris is 20x worse than Biden. Dems are truly doomed is she runs in 2024.

I don't need a poll to tell me parents are absolutely sick at what is being done to children today.

You'd have to be a moron to not understand that at this point.
