  • represent our nation in talks with foreign countries.
  • enforce the laws that Congress passes.
  • act as Commander-in-Chief during a war.
  • call out troops to protect our nation against an attack.
  • make suggestions about things that should be new laws.
  • lead his political party.
  • entertain foreign guests.
  • recognize foreign countries.
  • grant pardons.
  • nominate Cabinet members and Supreme Court Justices and other high officials.
  • appoint ambassadors.
  • talk directly to the people about problems.
  • represent the best interest of all the people
A PRESIDENT CANNOT . . .
  • make laws.
  • declare war.
  • decide how federal money will be spent.
  • interpret laws.
  • choose Cabinet members or Supreme Court Justices without Senate approval.
Sounds like mostly talk, suggest and entertain. Not much of the real power.
The president of the United States is a powerful position.
To think otherwise is just silly.

Presidents may have some areas of policy where they are "allowed" some autonomy, but on most major issues from taxation to energy to trade, they are directed how to govern by the political machine that installs them.

I personally can't identify the machine that installs the presidents, but it is patently obvious that Rahm Emmanuel was the handler communicating the machine's wishes to Bill Clinton, and Valerie Jarrett was the handler communicating the machine's dictates to Barak Hussein Obama. I can't tell who Biden's handler is.

I wasn't paying enough attention to know who the handlers were for Daddy Bush 41 and Baby Bush 43. They barely needed handling as they were both wealthy globalists who were all in with the New World Order, but don't think for a minute they were not taking marching orders. They were following orders, not making autonomous policy decisions.

It doesn't matter.

The point is, these presidents are following orders. This is not George Washington or Jack Kennedy, or even Tricky Dick actually calling the shots. These are puppets installed to follow the directions of the machine installing them as president. As long as Bill Clinton could screw as many women as possible, he was thrilled to fulfill his puppet role. As long as Barak Hussein Obama could divide the nation with a drumbeat of "racism", and advance Islam, he was satisfied with is puppet role.

Trump was an exception as he was not put in power by the billionaire & corporate oligarchy that usually installs presidents, so he was a loose cannon actually calling his own shots and supporting policies that were good for most American people. This ended up being wildly popular, which is why the billionaire & corporate oligarchy needed to steal the 2020 election and install an obedient puppet like Joe Biden.

The movie "The Candidate" with Robert Redford is a pretty good model here. It shows a political machine select an electable candidate who is propelled into power with no thought or ability to govern. At movies end, Robert Redford's character having won the presidency asks "what do we do now?". It is very obvious he has no convictions as to how he wants to govern, and is a puppet who will be told how he is to govern by the political machine that installed him.

This is how it works. Ambitious people climb the political ladder, and the shadow government then selects a stooge to groom for a presidential run, and installs him to be the figurehead.

This is the same in England or France or Germany. Leaders don't just work their way to the top because they appeal to voters in a clean, fair, and unmanipulated process. In all cases, the leaders are installed by various extremely power machines working behind the scenes. I am given to believe all of these various international machines are interwoven and working in concert together, which is why all western nations tend to have the same policies at the same time.

Think about 2008.

The election was all Hilary Clinton's to lose. Why do you think obscure Senator Barak Hussein Obama came out of nowhere to win the nomination and then election? The maching knew that Hilary Clinton would be a loose cannon and want to govern as she saw fit and could not be controlled by them. They could not afford to let her win because she would not automatically follow marching orders the way her husband did. She was dangerous. So they put all of their effort behind an empty suit they could control.
I honestly think the same people behind the assassination of JFK and then building the political career of the Bush family are the same ones behind The Clintons and Obamas. Especially the Obamas. It's no coincidence that Obama went on national television to try and make a comical declaration that he is related to both the Bush's and Cheney, but nonetheless, he got it out in the open to shut the door on speculations. Either way, he continued on with the Bush's legacy, as well as did the Clintons. Many people blame Clinton for the passing of NAFTA, but the fact is, Bush sr was the one that created it.

I didn’t realize you were obligated to keep a dementia patient in the highest office in the land. At the end of the day it’s our fault. He do nothing about anything as citizens of this nation. We are a lazy nation now

We’ll have to read more about Trump’s term in the books his staff write. Only then will we get more insight on the OP’s question.

I think there has always been a team of people since the time of Washington who help with decision-making. It's not a one-man show.

Demented President or not, the answer is always the same. Those with all the money make all the decisions. I’m constantly perplexed why this is not more evident to people!

And somehow the precovid days under President Trump were some of the best times in recent memories for most Americans. It's a glaring contrast to the s^&%show of inflation, crime, over run border, shortages that is the new norm for America under the current regime.
