I always thought it was a possibility that China intentionally released Covid-19. For the first time in many decades, the United States had a President that talked about and was actively trying to fix the trade deficits and encourage more on-shore manufacturing, both of which were and are a threat to China. The Chinese Communists were not going to let that happen, so they released a virus as a retaliation. That is what Communists do, as they have no regard for any person, let alone their own citizens. (Take a look at the Hong Kong protest and what is currently happening in Shanghai, if you do not believe me.)
Whether the virus was purposefully released, or not, it is a fact that China colluded with the World Health Organization to intentionally mislead the world on outbreak in China. That, alone, is quite telling.
Longer term this is not a threat to China. If you have followed China and their direction, much of their next national intent is to pivot more towards their people as consumers and away from massive industrial and exports. First world nations necessarily have to do this. So a trade war with China with intent to increase US output, might be reduced to nonsense (in their regard) considering that might be what China will need in the future. That is, they may well need the US as one of their future suppliers vs our current use as consumers.
They are having an outbreak of lockdowns, not covid.
So they are capable of engineering it and purposely releasing it, and yet failed to plan for how to respond to it in a way that doesn't sink their economy and also risk social upheaval.
It might have been China that released it, or Democrats allied with China that released it, in order to sabotage Trump.
Remember that Fauci's NIH were funding gain of function experiments with coronaviruses at the Wuhan lab.

This has been my theory from the start.
She self published her opinions on Zenodo which enables researchers to publish anything.
Almost immediately it went viral on social media and was promoted as fact by some media and has been wholeheartedly accepted as truth by some. Steve Bannon used it to claim it was China’s reaction to Trump.
Reportedly, she never conducted any research into human to human transmission and had no access to do so before leaving China in 2020. Her claims have no scientific basis according to the leading research universities.
Like most people, I am not remotely qualified to assess the claims.
I appreciate that many people make any “Fill in the Blank” all about their “Fill in the Blank” thing which in this case is Trump.

She is a useful idiot for Steven Bannon.
Her "research" has been thoroughly debunked by scientific peers.
They are having an outbreak of lockdowns, not covid.
And why would they lock down if it weren't for covid?
Preventing people from going to work is the absolute last thing a manufacturing country wants, in their largest city no less.
Those claiming that this was intentionally released have to think this through. What does China gain by releasing a virus that stops global economic activity and trade, the very thing that keeps their economy growing?
But then you throw in the pandemic training exercises from a few years ago at the World Economic Forum that have similarities with COVID, and it makes you wonder.
I am leaning towards that idea that the World Economic Forum and the CCP worked on this pandemic together. The Donald Trump presidency was a big roadblock to the future plans of the WEF.
