The Republicans also say they hate poverty. A better idea would be the two parties actually working together to solve the problem.

They can't even agree on what a boy and a girl is. This is why government is supposed to be a very small part of our lives and we are supposed to understand that no one can solve most of our problems better than ourselves. Of course, that is all just my own personal opinion.

LBJ started a war on poverty and so far all we we have to show for it are bankrupt welfare schemes, lots of single parent families and decaying crime ridden cities. Please stop.

the thing is, no matter how much money a person has, somebody got to be on the bottom.

poverty is a government word invented to talk about government needs, if you ban the word "poverty" nobody be poor.

no serious, you are poor because somebody tells you, you are poor

We've been "addressing" poverty for 60 years. What do you lefties have to show for it?

The American taxpayer wants his $30T back.
