I have to say, I have respect for those who say that they should force women to give birth even if raped. Because unlike the others, these people are pretty straightforward. They believe life begins at conception. And once you get there, abortion is worse then rape. I can respect that, even if for most people they're horrified by it. But lets be honest-these people are saying what they believe. They're telling us what they believe, and who they are.

But they are the tiny minority. If you say life begins at conception, but you are ok about abortion for rape, you are a hypocrite. You are literally saying a child should be put to death for the sins of their father.

Now others aren't about some imaginary life begins at conception nonsense. Instead they have a more reasonable view that "life" begins when the child can think. And for those we had a good compromise of when abortion was ok.

And then theres everyone else who is simply put horrified by forcing women to give birth. And that is the majority of people. When you force a minority opinion on a majority, you start to realize that your government is failing you. And thats what we have seen.

Do people really think this is going to work for them?

Don't worry, libs. Many, if not most states, will still allow the savage butchery of the unborn.

Celebrate and enjoy.

Correct. It's only with the issue of abortion on demand for convenience that we have such an even split. ABC/WaPo poll:

48% keep on demand convenience abortion legal
45% make it illegal

That's why the Dems couldn't pass their abortion bill. Not enough votes due to lack of public support. And it's the same reason why major corporations are silent on the issue. Coming down on one side or the other instantly alienates half their customer base. No big corp is willing to make the same colossal PR mistake as Disney.

How about those politicians figure out what more the government can do to make more poor women "personally pro-life"?
I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed yet... The highest rate of abortion, BY FAR, is among women in the highest income group:

Abortion Rates by Income Level

Poverty Level: 8.6%
100%-200%: 7.8%
200%-300%: 16.2%
300%-400%: 8.0%
Over 400%: 31.9%

There's a HUGE statistical outlier there.

Figure 4, here: https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content..._pregnancy.pdf

Poor women get extra public assistance benefits for each child they have, so it's actually a financial plus for them.

Keep in mind that women in the highest income level group are the LEAST likely to have a lack of access to birth control.

Sad, but true. It's the same culture of coddling irresponsibility that pervades the left.

So WHY do SO many women who want to avoid pregnancy NEGLECT to use birth control?

Incorrect. States abuse Constitutional Rights all the time when they place restrictions on 2nd Amendment Rights. The precedent has already been set thanks to anti-gun idiots.

It's standing in the way of choice that should be the concern.

People with sufficient resources will be able to arrange what they seek.

It's poor people who will bear the brunt of restrictions.
Then shouldn't we ALL have the right to kill another who's an inconvenience to us?

Perhaps HIPPA should be an Amendment to our Constitution?
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge. The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued the HIPAA Privacy Rule to implement the requirements of HIPAA. The HIPAA Security Rule protects a subset of information covered by the Privacy Rule.

The Confederate States created that ‘airquote’ Constitutional ‘right’ when they waged War against the United States of America in order to continue the abuse.
