Issue for the states to deal with. I’m fine with the ruling. The left will undoubtedly use this to campaign on though.

A person can rightfully be opposed to abortion, but come to the realization that it's a private matter. In the end, it's none of anybody's business except the woman, her family, and her doctor.
Those laws protect the unborn children.

Abortion is about balancing the right to life vs. the right of the woman to control the process.

There is no dispute, except among some Kevorkian Democrats, that the right to life is much more important at some point in the pregnancy. Even Roe v. Wade basically says the right to life trumps during the last trimester.

Doesn't the Constitution state something like anything that is not stated in the Constitution should be left to the states? (Of course, I am paraphrasing, and I might be wrong about that.)

Well, if that is true, maybe those who advocate for "states rights" might have reason to celebrate! I mean, I see nothing in the Constitution that even mentions affirmative action, for example.

I am wondering if the rationale behind this will now spread to other issues, also.

crazy bernie is furious too.

Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.

Those who want an abortion are the new anti vaxers. Both have others and the Government subjecting them to outrageous rules.

I'd suggest you go back and read the draft opinion before getting so excited about that, at least skim 5-10 pages. It does not support your notion.

Crazy Bernie should be careful what he wishes for.

I doubt there are actually 50 votes in the senate to actually get this passed realistically.

No, it's a state issue, not a federal issue.

It seems like the right is planning to use this to campaign on.

You are correct, it's not official until it's posted on Twitter.
