How many times do people need to be told that many women do not even know they are pregnant by 6 weeks. Not everyone gets a period every 28 days. Some can go 3 months in a cycle. One missed period does not equal pregnant.
This argument is among the worst arguments possible, and yet it's probably the most common. You know you've had unprotected sex. You know that pregnancy is a potential consequence of having unprotected sex. Take a pregnancy test (or two), or stop having unprotected sex. If your "man" refuses to do his part and use protection, he's probably neither a "man" nor a keeper.

What is the first thing that most women do to confirm if they are pregnant? They take a Pregnancy Test. If a woman had sex(protected or not) and doesn't want a baby, then she needs to take a test.
There are people who still test every day for COVID just to check even though they have no indication they have COVID. So now a woman just needs to test even though she shows no indication of being pregnant. Even a woman with a cycle so unpredictable, wouldn't need to test daily. She could test once or twice a week and still have a few weeks to make any decisions. If a woman can't afford tests, then they can go to Planned Parenthood(or any other organization) which offers women free tests.

You think it's reasonable or feasible to take a pregnancy test after each encounter, just in case? Get real.

Do you know that even when using protection you can still get pregnant? Even after a tubal you can get pregnant. Even after a vasectomy there is a chance of pregnancy.
Do you know what most of the babies will become? Criminals. You don't get super healthy humans by making someone keep a kid they don't want.
You get more crime, more poverty. And don't be deceived, rich people will still be getting them, just the poor won't be able to.
They also seem to think hookers, drug addicts or people prone to violence make good parents. Teenagers having babies without support and unable to finish school makes for a great childhood?

Do you take medical tests if you don't suspect something is wrong? (I'm ignoring your COVID comment; that's irrelevant)
A woman on an irregular cycle gets used to the irregular cycle. It is normal to her. Assuming she is generally responsible about using BC, why would she even think to test after each encounter on the off chance the BC failed one time?
Added. Maybe I shouldn't have ignored your COVID comment. You seem to think women should constantly test for pregnancy like the COVID testers???

You can use a test AFTER 4 WEEKS, and if you don't have enough of a specific hormone you could be pregnant and test negative. PLUS, you don't always know if your BC failed.

A whole lot more reasonable and feasible than testing for COVID after every time you're out among the general public.
I know people can be very flippant about sex, but sheesh, how hard can it be to keep up with that? Seriously??
Maybe if a person models their life after a porn video? If that's the case, I don't feel sorry for them. Don't worry, this applies to boys and girls equally when it comes down to responsibility.

Right?
Crime fell in the 70s. It fell more than the could attribute to increased police officers and like methods.
Then they noticed that crime fell off in tandem with accessibility to terminate pregnancies.
Imagine that. Not being forced to raise another human being when you can barely take care of yourself is better for society.
On the positive side at least we have BC methods that are long term, which is a huge help. Well, not to the kids whose parents dictate abstinence, and don't want sex ed in schools.

Pregnancy tests don't work right after you have sex. Porn? How about a couple whose BC failed?
And really, are we still going to go the whole "good girls don't...." route?
