No it’s absolutely right. Kavanagh chose to pursue a public position of power and he chooses to make decisions that harm a lot of people for the benefit of the wealthy he can reap the consequences.

The problem is that you get a group of 20 and someone does something and they start tearing apart everyone’s online history and how they organized and it can quickly lead to charges.

It actually is a felony to do so in this case because it involves Justices in a pending case.

It’s illegal to protest outside of a Judge’s home in an effort to try to sway their decision in a pending case. The consequences for protesters who ignore the law is up to a year in jail.

It’s clear that TeamBiden either doesn’t know —- or doesn’t care, that’s it’s a Federal Felony offense to protest, threaten or attempt to intimidate a Judge and certainly a Supreme Court Justice.

If they are legally permitted to protest near the judge's residents then fine- I'm 100% for supporting their constitutional rights. Nothing in this section shall interfere with or prevent the exercise by any court of the United States of its power to punish for contempt.


It’s likely (or certainly possible)that the theft of the Draft Decision is also a Crime. It is unprecedented.

Whoever, by threats or force, willfully prevents, obstructs, impedes, or interferes with, or willfully attempts to prevent, obstruct, impede, or interfere with, the due exercise of rights or the performance of duties under any order, judgment, or decree of a court of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Leaking a Draft Judgement sounds a lot like “impede, obstruct, interferes with, prevent and performance of duties”.

Our US Attorney General, the US Department of Justice AND the President of the United States are silent on all of this ….. including the Doxxing and threats against 2 particular Supreme Court Justices AND the Constitutional 3rd Branch of US Goverment.

It’s Appalling, and Unforgivable

I agree. The leaking of the draft is subject to this law as well. Whoever leaked it should get the maximum of a year in jail.

I suspect the final decision may be expedited some, perhaps early June, given the leak. I also will not be surprised if Roberts joins the 5 in the majority decision.

I wonder if we will see an uptick in the name Trigger as a newborn's name in 2022.

The better question is why are there laws preventing ordinary people from trying to sway public officials but no laws preventing wealthy donors from swaying those same individuals that are paid for with public taxes and protected with a military made up of ordinary citizens?

If you want public officials to be free of outside influence, great. I agree. However we need to address the problem of the double standard. As long as there is lobbying, and these people can own stocks etc. then the public should be able to know where they live, camp out by their houses etc. and laws used to create that double standard should be repealed.
